°background: Hyunjae practically grew up around the entire idol scene along with his twin brother, Sungjae. His father, being a producer for YG Entertainment since Hyunjae was 3 years old, always brought him along to work. He basically grew up in the YG building. In 2003, at the age of 10, he auditioned for YG Entertainment and became a trainee. Luckily, he had inherited his father's vocal skills. He trained for 3 years and was set to debut alongside the guys of BigBang, even performing pre-debut concerts and doing promotions. Weeks before their debut, he decided not to debut due to not feeling ready for fame quite yet given he was only 13 years old. He is still close with all five members of BigBang. After he split from BigBang, he left YG Entertainment and auditioned for BigHit entertainment in December 2006, officially joining the BigHit trainee program in February 2007. 9 years later, Hyunjae is preparing for his well-earned debut with with Lunar.

He couldn't help but to smile around the smaller, energetic boy because his happiness was too contagious. After a few minutes of being in each other's presence, Hyunjae began seeing how attractive he was and instantly fell harder. It was almost love at first sight for Hyunjae.

°their first impression of your character: Baekhyun was taken aback by his height and felt slightly intimidated standing by him. He got over it quickly when he began talking to him and realized he was just a tall child. He felt that they got along well enjoyed his presence. After minutes, the same happened with Baekhyun as had happened to Hyunjae, he began realizing how attractive he was and wanted to get to know him better, not just for his looks though but for his personality as well.

°their relationship: In the beginning, they're their normal selves but more flirty towards each other. It's obvious that they try to keep it discreet but they're very bad at being discreet. They constantly speak with each other and their group members tease them about it often. Towards the middle of their relationship, Hyunjae decides to man-up and ask Baekhyun out...in the grandest way possible. His group is having a concert, or is on a show, and he does a solo of a love song with a few of his group members doing back-up vocals and at the end he asks him out bUT Baekhyun runs out of the venue or crowd and leaves. Hyunjae just deflates and it's so clear he's heartbroken and is quieter during the show. They leave and go to their dorm and his group members worry over Hyunjae because he's being unusually quiet for the loudest person in the group so everyone's a bit quieter because he normally brings the life to the party. He stays in his room and later that day Baekhyun comes walking in their dorm without knocking, out of breath, and he's carrying roses and a teddy bear and just walks into Hyunjae's room. He apologizes profusely for leaving and tells him that he just felt bad for not having anything for him and they hug, or kiss y'know bc that's great too, and Hyunjae smiles so much and looks like a literal ray of sunshine because he's beaming so much. After, he just runs around the dorm shouting and yelling about how he got "his man" (idk toss the idea around a bit). They're just a really cute couple all throughout their relationship and have lots of skinship given Hyunjae's touchy tendencies. They always pull pranks against their group members together and are known as the moodmaker couple. They easily make each other flustered but are shameless in their skinship and flirtiness towards each other.

°relationship: Well, towards the beginning they're best friends with sexual tension since Hyunjae is a flirt and there's bound to be sexual tension with him around. Then, they begin dating and still have that sexual tension but are still really cute together.
