  1. Hey, gonna write a hopefully shortish thing here about games and school. Enjoy
  2.
  3. Casual races with buds own. While we haven't done a lot of them, me, Wawlconut, and Boredeathly have gotten together to race a few times relatively recently. We did the first part of an FF1 continuation race a couple months ago, and last weekend continued it, with plans to go further this weekend. Besides that we did Sonic 2 once, which was fun despite the fact that I can't play sonic games, and then we did yoshi in sonic 2 which was a blast. I hope we keep it up cuz I've been having a great time.

  5. FF14 raid group has been on a break, but we are resuming on the 14th or so of this month, so I'm excited.

  7. The break was probably a good thing for me considering school. It has been pretty rough for the last month, with a lot of anxiety over grades and whatnot. That aside, I've just been so insanely frustrated with it. One of my professors constantly assigns unrealistic homework. Once it was the exact same assignment he gave graduate students last year, only we got 1/4th the time to complete it. Last assignment as well as the one I'm working on tonight has to be written in Verilog code, a hardware description language that he has never spoken a word about how to write in. We had 1 TA lecture for an hour and very, very brief encounters with it in lab, during which we basically just had to modify variables, and we are expected to be able to write complex programs because "we can use the internet as a resource". Not exactly what I'm paying him to tell me...

  9. It's looking like I'm going to have to retake multivariable calculus next semester, which I was pretty worked up about last week. Since then I've calmed down a bit, but it still kinda sucks. It won't cause me to have to stay here an extra half a year or anything, so as long as it doesn't happen again I should be ok. There's also a very slight chance I might still be able to pass it, but I'm doubtful at this point. The good news is I can take an easier version of the class than what I'm in right now, so maybe that'll help.

  11. Combining the two things above, I've been frustrated beyond belief. With calc, I can do the homework and follow examples just fine, but when it comes to taking tests I just can't pull it off, and with the other class... ok. Been doing a decent job combating it though. Spending as much time as classes will allow with friends, either playing FF14, streaming, or hanging out with my roommates. Speaking of streaming, I'll probably finish case 2 of AA2 and maybe keep going this weekend, since I should be free mostly. Oh, FF1 resumes saturday as well, assuming no one bails. That race owns a lot so I hope we keep it going.

  13. Cool this was way longer than I thought it would be because once I get going about school stuff I just run with it.

  15. Thanks for reading, Cya
