'What of these peaches the Princess has been using to distil her brandy? I looked to the library for answers.

Dangerous knowledge
'I had to steal deep into the Khan's library for this. It cost me many coins, and it took me many hours...' I found an answer, though. A scroll of botanical drawings, annotated in Latin, thankfully - and a reference to peaches that gave 'vita sine finem'- life without end...

What could the distilled juice of such a fruit do? And what was the knowledge worth? I pondered.... Then I looked up from the scroll as something scuttled past me.

There was a rustling, and then a terrific crash as a lamp fell to the ground. A pool of oily flame spread across the floor... I had to leap across it to get to safety and call for help.
