  1. As some of you know, my step dad Will passed away almost 2 months ago now. My family has been through some very hard times with depression and finances as a result of his illness as cancer slowly zapped him of his life, finally rendering him incapacitated till his body gave in, surrounded by all his family in his final resting point back home, Australia.

  3. I'm going to keep this as short as I can, but do please feel free to read more here:

  6. And if you've ever wanted to donate to me, consider this your opportunity. The money will go towards helping out a grieving widow (my mom) who is buried in medical bills and various debt that has accumulated from things over the years (we've always been poor), as well as a more recent expense of repairing a neglected house (a change to the house after Will's passing to take her mind off some things if nothing else :/). I am back living at home for the next year, so, er, it'll help me too!

  8. If giving money is not something you want to jump at the chance to do, I COMPLETELY understand. But maybe you could spread the story. Twitter, Facebook, whatever. Anything you can do to maybe help us out a little would be amazing. Just link that gofundme page linked above.

  10. Anyway, thanks for reading, and thanks for any considerations. My brother and my mom and me will all be working again soon with any luck. Because of Will's illness, we all were forced to quit our jobs or had responsibilities come up preventing us from finding work for a while. Now, with our grieving, things have just been hard. My sister's the only one currently working, and she's moving out soon. To clarify, though, we'd be able to manage even if this thing raised 0 dollars. I hate to come across as being totally reliant, as we are not. It's just that, again, my mom faces bills (mostly medical) she doesn't know how she'll EVER pay off. So this opportunity to raise money could really do our family wonders.

  16. Little bit of an update: My mom and I both struggle with some shame or pride or something getting in the way of accepting direct support. But we're coming to terms with it, and the overwhelming support through some of Will's old associates, viewers of mine, both old and new, and various friends of the family has been awe-inspiring to say the least. Thank you so much if you've even so much as taken the time to read a paragraph or so on the page. And a tenfold thank you if you've decided to offer your support. We are so very thankful and this is truly making a difference. Thanks to everybody, and a special thanks to Gunnermaniac3 who has decided to dedicate an entire stream in raising awareness and support for the cause.
