- -I picked up the Splinter Cell series, mostly with Splinter Cell 1 and Pandora Tomorrow,as speedruns and pushed my personal bests with those games down really far. I even managed to get World Record in Pandora Tomorrow!
- -I got what was one of my ultimate goals in Outlast 1 speedrunning, and that was to beat finath's time in the No OoB category for the main game. I beat that goal in January.
- -Relating to the above,I completed a back-to-back speedrun of every single main category of the Outlast trilogy(the "Outlast Trinity" as its officially called). I had some large mistakes and I ended up being on a tight time crunch at the end because of irl stuff that was happening during the day I attempted the run,but I pulled through in the end. I still plan to run the games from time-to-time,but I've largely stopped running the series because I felt burnt out on them back in April 2018.
- -I picked up more memegame speedruns (Air Control and Christmas Shopper Simulator) because memes are cool.
- -I went out of my comfort zone and looked at speedruns for non-Pokemon RPGs. I'm currently looking at Earthlock Any% and Persona 4 Golden Hard Golden Ending.
- -Speaking of going out of my comfort zone, I had a great time at this year's SGDQ by doing just that and talking to more people. I also had a great run of I am Bread Bagel Race with BloodThunder giving good commentary. I also co-commentated eddaket's run of New Super Mario Bros. 2 Warpless for the event and I felt I did good commentary for that.
- -I did a bunch of online marathon runs, most notable of which, imo, being my Pandora Tomorrow Any% run for NGR Winter 2018,Splinter Cell 1 Any% v1 for Shots Fired Annihilation, and Outlast No OoB for Keizathon, since all 3 of those were,I feel, some of my best marathon performances to date.
- -Very recently,I resolved to get at least decent at Smash Ultimate (and the Smash series in general) by watching tutorials and practicing. There's been too many times where some of my pals in the speedrunning community were doing tournaments at in-person marathons or a friend offered to play with me and I declined both of those things because I feared getting dead last, even though I would likely have fun in those tournaments, despite being a not very skilled player,if I just participated.
