Please be available and ready to commentate around 15 minutes before the next category is about to start. As soon as the first team finishes the current category, the commentators for the next category will be swapped out by an admin. Before the run you are scheduled to commentate, you will enter the "waiting-room" voice channel. When you are in the waiting-room, you need to be prepared to start your commentary. Keep your mic muted until you've been pulled into the "live-commentary" channel.

To view the rtmp channel that you will be commentating from, use the following link https://rtmp.speedga.me/? and following the ? you will add the corresponding stream keys for whomever is running. this is an example rtmp link that the marathon will start with:

Once you are ready to commentate, you can bring up the rtmp to begin viewing. Once the first team has finished the category you are commentating for, an admin will swap you out with the next run's commentators. At this time, the new commentators with bring up their rtmp with the corresponding keys.

As a last note, please refrain from any inappropriate commentary: (I trust all of you to not go off the deep end, so feel free to ignore these to some extent, but try to keep them as guidelines)

1) Keep your commentary professional. Ensure to keep your topics on the relay and players. While occasional interaction with chat can be a good thing, do not spend a majority of your focus on interacting with chat or have full blown conversations/arguments with chat.
2) Always commentate for the runners in a positive light. While commentating on a runner's misfortune due to RNG or a missed trick that will cost him/her time, do not play down their skill regardless of any apparent skill gap between the racers.
4) Please ensure that your audio sounds reasonable.  We don't expect a professional sound setup, but we also don't want commentators sounding like they're speaking through a tin can.
