  1. 1. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl (Any% Glitchless and Any%)
  2. BDSP has become a staple not only among Pokémon speedruns but speedrunning as a whole. The game has become viral on the internet for its immense amount of glitches, which is the first time that a Pokémon game has had speedrun-useful glitches in over a decade. In fact, the games are so broken that I would argue it rivals the glitchiness of Generations 1 and 2, and it's a game *released in 2021*. The glitches in this run are hilarious, and I'm 99% sure it would become a crowd favorite. A good showcase of this would be the longer Glitchless with the Any% run as a bonus run right afterwards.
  3.
  4. 2. Elden Ring (All Remembrances and Any%/Any% Unrestricted)
  5. Similar situation to my earlier pitch for BDSP. Both categories have gotten broken wide open with a zip glitch, with the Unrestricted category not fighting a single boss. I haven't spoiled myself much on Elden Ring speedruns, but from what I've seen with Any% Unrestricted, it's gonna be wild if it gets in.
  6.
  7. 3. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, or Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (Any%)
  8. Splinter Cell is a childhood game series, and a speedrun I hold near and dear as one of a few speedruns I've taken very seriously and grinded down times for, so I really want to see it have some GDQ representation, as a proper main campaign/singleplayer Splinter Cell speedrun hasn't been shown since 2011.
  9.
  10. 4. Outlast 2 (Any% No CPK)
  11. Anyone who knows me knows that the Outlast series are speedgames I hold near and dear to my heart above any other game, as it's the backbone of my speedrunning career early on and helped me push myself to get better at speedrunning and gaming as a whole. The No CPK category in particular has become my favorite Outlast speedrun outside of Outlast 1 No OoB, and the person submitting it is a really good horror speedrunner in Sharkhat87. Given that I've run Outlast 2 a fair bit, I hope to help commentate if he does get in.
  12.
  13. 5. Silent Hill: Downpour (Homepour Any%/Any% NG)
  14. Downpour is one of those games where the game itself sucks major ass as a casual game, but it is a fun and cool speedrun. This run ups the ante by doing two runs effectively at the same time, and I think it would be an amazing showcase of both games.
  15.
  16. 6. Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach (All Endings - Inbounds)
  17. FNAF is one of those series that while I don't speedrun it a whole lot and don't consider it one of my "main" games, I still really like it given the sheer amount of lore behind the series and the love of the games that community members such as Dawko and MatPat have shared with their videos on the series. Security Breach is probably the only FNAF game viable to be shown at a GDQ (or any marathon for that matter), since the other games aren't really good for speedruns due to the gameplay style of the games not being conducive for speedrunning. Security Breach is also ridiculously broken like BDSP and Elden Ring is, and the Inbounds category is a nice middle-ground between a glitch-free run and a completely glitchy run.
  18.
  19. 7. Amnesia: Rebirth or Amnesia Trilogy (Any%)
  20. All of the horror games released by Frictional Games are, in my opinion, some of the best horror games and horror speedruns out there, and the Amnesia series is no exception. It's the first horror series I actively watched speedruns of, and the speedruns for all of Frictional's games have evolved a lot over the years. I'd be fine with either a Rebirth run by itself or the Trilogy, as I really like the Rebirth run in particular, but I also think that the Trilogy run would be a logical follow-up to the Penumbra Trilogy run last year.
  21.
  22. 8. Solar Ash (True Ending - Restricted)
  23. It's a sick movement-based speedrun, and bryonato is the runner. You know it's gonna be good.
