Operation Facebook: A personal note from me.

Until now, I have been quiet about this subject. Mostly to avoid creating more confusion, and not knowing the correct way of saying what I am about to type. However, now I believe that I may have found the words to clear up some things about Operation Facebook.

As far as I know, Operation Facebook was an operation set up to spread awareness about the privacy issues associated with owning a Facebook. The idea was originally to get people to stop using Facebook and move to another Social networking website. The "kill Facebook" line that was put into the now notorious "Operation Facebook" video was most likely meant to mean "kill Facebook by boycotting/stop using it." not meaning to "Hack" or "Take down" Facebook.

However, because anyone can be Anonymous, and there are no "Official" plans of Anonymous, there still may be plans by a lone wolf or a small group of people to do something further to Facebook. There is no way of telling.

Most likely, nothing will happen to Facebook on November 5th, but there is absolutely no way of assuring anything will or will not. Asking me, or anyone else about it, would be absolutely pointless because you will probably be getting the same response, "I don't know."

So please, any time something is posted about November 5th, please do not assume it is about Operation Facebook.
