  1. I propose a new set of rules to maintain the sub's high quality without making it too exclusive for anime-only fans. This proposal is built around three pillars: Art, Spoilers, and Discipline.
  2.
  3. #PART 1: ART POSTS
  4.
  5. As fan art will naturally increase and explode come 2025, and while 90% of it will be great, it's easy for a sub to be overrun by random content. To help facilitate things, here are some proposed new rules:
  6.
  7. 1. **NO AI ART**. Don't post frames generated by bots or grabbed from accounts that only produce AI art. I suggest that **posting AI art must result in a permanent ban from the sub.**
  8.
  9. 2. **ALWAYS CREDIT NON-OC ARTISTS IN THE TITLE**. If you obtained art from Pixiv, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, DeviantArt, Bluesky, or elsewhere, link to the original post in the comments. Specify if you have permission from the original artist to post their work. We may be a small sub now, but not for long.
  10.
  11. 3. **IF YOU'RE NOT AN AI USER AND HAVE CREATED A GOOD DRAWING, MARK IT AS OC**. This guarantees that we know it's *you* who made it and allows the mods to flag bots who might try to repost your art as their own. Always link to your social media, Ko-Fi, or Patreon so that anyone interested can support you financially.
  12.
  13. 4. **NO LEWDS ON MAIN.** Let's not give newcomers the wrong idea. As for where to send lewds, this can go one of two ways: either a monthly megathread dump post where users can share any lewd art (we have image permissions, so it's fine), or create a separate Rule 34 sub for nudes and lewds. But one thing is immutable: NO POSTING LEWD ART ON THE MAIN SUB AS ITS OWN POST.
  14.
  15. #PART 2: SPOILERS
  16.
  17. It's inevitable that the new influx of subscribers will increase such that there may be proportionally more anime-only fans than original manga readers. For that, here are some proposed rules and my rationale:
  18.
  19. 1. **DON'T DROP SPOILERS**. Let anime-only fans enjoy the series at their own pace. Despite being a low-fi, low-risk Reiwa fast-progress romance, there are still moments that new viewers will want to savor in the anime. Even those who have been somewhat spoiled early on are patient enough to stay away from the manga unless necessary. So just don't spoil events. Don't even act like an anime-only fan with "a nice theory." Don't spoil the manga. It's that simple. As a sub-rule, be careful when making posts about any content the anime missed.
  20.
  21. 2. **BE A GOOD SHEPHERD**. If you do see an anime-only fan transition to the manga, guide them gently. Again, let them read at their own pace and come to their own conclusions. Don't get mad, don't get ship-obsessed, and let readers breathe.
  22.
  23. 3. **PAY ATTENTION**. This goes for both anime-only fans and manga readers: actually watch/read the material. This isn't an overly deep or complicated story that requires a voluminous guide to understand. Much of the writing spells itself out clearly in bold text, and the subtleties are easy to catch with an extra rewatch. Stupid questions are okay (because even I am stupid), but at some point, a story FAQ may be developed.
  24.
  25. ## PART 3: DISCIPLINE
  26.
  27. This part covers aspects from the first two sections that don't fit into three rules, serving more as an attempt to build a framework for housekeeping in the sub than anything major.
  28.
  29. 1. **DON'T BE A REPEATER**. Yes, this includes the apology counter. Please check if someone has already commented on an episode, chapter, or other aspects of the manga. Don't spam the same takes, and call out reposted art unless said repost is to rectify an uncredited art post.
  30.
  31. 2. **STAY EXCELLENT WITH EACH OTHER**. The teenagers in this manga have been quite exemplary in their behavior. Let's at least try to be as courteous and respectful as they are. In the end, we're here to enjoy a nice, comfy love story.
  32.
  33. To be honest, though, even I find all this conceited. You've just read the ramblings of an arrogant basement-dweller. I don't even want to be a mod here myself -- why should I propose rules that are far more draconian than usual? But I guess I just want the OGs of this sub to be ready in case the anime legitimately blows up and becomes a big deal everywhere. We have the capacity to maintain this sub as a real haven for those who want to discuss the story without having to deal with the communities on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or Bluesky. And I suppose that's all I want.
