- A name.
- Stephen
- Sure, it wasn't my choice. That was my parents' choice. It means something and bears significance, but it lacks something, too.
- SSBMstuff
- My first online username that stuck. It's still with me today.
- Saboom
- A kind of an affectionate twist. Once again, not my choosing, but perhaps it was better this way. Perhaps not. To kind of be named by my audience. But whether I like it or not, this absolutely WAS my name, and a huge part of my identity. NOT "SSBMstuff"
- (All kinds of different, creative spinoffs that never stuck)
- Well, I had fun thinking of names for a long time lol. Some of them had a silly YT video to go with it.
- FINALLY....
- I have FULLY realized what I want my name to be!
- Drum roll please!!!!!!
- --> Sa <--
- That is my artist name. My name. My name of most significance and value, to me. I realized the significance of ssbmstuff/saboom is something I can't just erase and start over. So I got rid of the boom. What else does Sa mean? You know the n-word? People say "hard R" and stuff? I think "Sir" also falls perfectly well under that same grammar. Calling someone "sir" is using that same hard R. "Sa" is the way to reclamation.
- My music will henceforth be by Sa.
- Looking forward to it.
