Ada background

Ada was born in Black Guard as the daughter of Jonah, a human-demon hybrid. Her father had ruled over a land that openly welcomed refuge, ex-criminals, and enigmatic travelers. Her mother had died in childbirth leaving the parental responsibilities to Jonah.
The city had a core philosophy that Strength and Knowledge alone is the highest virtue, so then they governed themselves openly. Law establishment was enforced by the community. Regardless of their moral indecencies and quirks, they had found ways to make their strengths profitable for the land's well-being. Ada had no intentions to build herself upon these standards, and this pressure to find strength was belabored upon her time after time.

 It is widely known that Ada was highly curious of the kinds of specimen and was overtly friendly. The social dynamics of schools mostly were composed of children fighting constantly outside of class to prove their dominance. It was Ada that would often openly challenge people to battle, and she would often lose; however, would be open with a unwavering smile and playfulness beyond her weekly bruises and tears. It was these events that would openly call for Jonah's expression of embarassment while simulatenously thinking upon his own youthful days of rough-housing and alcoholism and drew parallels to his foolishness. It was given to her by him "Never fight fair." He had openly told that there will be opponents and adversaries that will use any leverage to gain the upperhand, and that her matches were always based on racial/genetic differences to begin with. Thereforth, a flame of passion had surged within her to make use of her keen dexterity and gifted acrobatics. She was taught how to be nimble and always looking to use the environment and her wits to overcome enemies. This required rigorous training courses which had tightened their relationship, and while he had struggled to teach her to get in touch with her demonic powers, he had loved her regardless and believed she would eventually find her place in his society.

She had been trained in infiltration tactics from her noticeable skill improvements and reputation from her colleagues. Growing up she felt the need to do service in mercenary work given to Black Guard from ally nations. These assignments ranged from peddling alchemical medicines to upcoming merchants, infiltrating fortresses and wiping out outposts. She had abandoned most contact with her father in pursuit of her need for adventure and hedonic activities like finding new alcoholic beverages, flirting playfully with other allies, and gambling. One day she had fell short during a mission requiring to assassinate the archwizard in a town called Zelsborne. She was caught and in so much awe of the wizard's magical facilities that she had become distracted. Quickly imprisoned by stone, her lack of nervousness and shame had led the wizard to be paranoid and check if there were anything that had been stolen or if she had any sources of power. To avail, she had been imprisoned for research due to detection of extreme demonic power, and she has been used for research while Ada researches magic and tries to convinces this man herself to one day escape.
