15| HISTORY ー
	Takashi Kentarou was born and raised as a vampire in Kyoto, Japan. Unluckily for Kentarou, his family consisted of monsters. To most people, his words would be exaggerated but he doesn't sugarcoat things. His mother and father both fed off of and murdered anyone who stood in their way. They were never satisfied with what they had. The couple definitely wasn't bloodthirsty, just addicted to killing people and sucking them dry. Their minds were so clouded with their bloodlust that they even forgot they had a son. Because of his parents' inability to care for their son and make a steady income, Kentarou lived on the streets, spending the nights in alleyways and the days roaming the area, observing from the shadows. He practically raised himself and taught himself how to survive, in more ways than one.
	Kentarou had a rough childhood. Apart from having absent parents, he lived on the streets. Due to living on the streets, he was subjected to things a child, vampire or not, should never be subjected to. He had to steal to survive and never, not once, killed an innocent person. The only people he fed off of were all genuinely terrible people, murderers, rapists, and everything in between. One day, around the time he turned 15, Kentarou's life became worse than it already was. He had just woken up and he was struck with hunger. He instantly set out to find a source of food, soon coming across what appeared to be a drunk man dragging a woman into an alleyway. The 15-year-old didn't hesitate to make pursuit. He dragged the man away from the woman, who fled the scene, and was moments away from biting into the man's neck when he suddenly grabbed. As it turned out, his target had a friend. Long story short, Kentarou was beaten, raped, and left unconscious in the alleyway. Since then, he trusts no one and is even more cautious of those around him.
	As Kentarou got older and stopped aging, he began moving around a lot more, mostly to prevent locals from growing suspicious over his lack of wrinkles. He first moved to Korea, where he stayed for 20 years. During his stay there, he got himself into a sticky situation. He had only been there for 10 years when he made the mistake of getting drunk and sleeping with a woman. It's safe to say that he was not expecting a baby to be sitting on his front steps months later with a note identifying the child as his. Knowing what it felt like to grow up without parents, he didn't want that for his son. To his luck, his son, who he had named Issei, was born a vampire. It made Kentarou's job significantly easier seeing as he didn't have to try and raise a human when he wasn't human himself. Five years passed and the 50-year-old vampire moved him and his 10-year-old son out of Korea and all the way to Spain, where they stayed for around 220 years.
	After spending 217 years moving from place to place within Spain, the father-son pair parted ways in 1808 when Issei decided to move to the Great Britain while Kentarou decided to move to what is now known as Mexico. Kentarou lived in Mexico for a grand total of 32 years before moving back to Spain. He stayed in the country he'd come to know as home for another 127 years before he, once again, was left with not one, but two children, twins. The only difference between the twins and his son was that he knew the twins' mother. He was in a relationship with a man at the time but same-sex relationships were illegal in Spain at the time. On top of having to keep on the down low with their relationship, the pair wasn't able to adopt either. Luckily for Kentarou, a close friend of his, Moira, who happens to be a vampire as well, volunteered to be a surrogate for them. Because of the laws during that time and lack of medical technology, the baby had to be conceived naturally, meaning Kentarou just had to have sex with Moira. Nine months later in 1968, Kentarou and his boyfriend were the parents of twins, Ren and Ryou. Sadly for Kentarou, his human partner died merely 5 years later of cancer. This prompted him to finally move out of Spain and back to Japan, bringing his twin sons along with him. Moira, having grown tired of Spain, decided to tag along.
	Kentarou, of course, avoided Kyoto at all costs and settled his family in Osaka. By some miracle of fate, he was reunited with his eldest son a few years later. Upon being reunited with Issei, he also got to meet his daughter-in-law and grandchildren, all of whom were vampires. The Takashi family unanimously decided to all just stick together from the on out, somewhat forming their own little coven consisting of both blood relatives and close family friends. 36 years passed before someone left the coven, that someone being Kentarou himself. He left in order to find something to do with his time. Sure, he loved having his family around but he was unbelievably restless, to his dismay. He moved back to South Korea only to audition for an entertainment company with the intentions of becoming a solo artist.
	Four years later, the almost 476-year-old vampire is preparing to debut as a member of the co-ed group Crescent.

	When most people meet or even see Kentarou, their first thought is cute. They think this until they try to approach him. He may be small and cute but he's full of bitterness. On top of this bitterness comes an extremely short temper. He can be set off by the smallest of things, ranging from mentions of things he experienced during his childhood to accidentally hitting him with something. He can often be found pouting whenever something or someone annoys him and is quick to scold those who do happen to make him annoyed. The funny thing is, he is only like this around people he actually likes. If he doesn't like someone, he's either super rude towards them or just flat out ignores their existence. He has no shame when it comes to his words and actions. Being alive for so long has dissipated whatever social awkwardness he may have had. He is blunt and straightforward in his words and actions and rarely holds anything back. He doesn't mind voicing his thoughts and more often than not is giving people his opinion, whether they want to hear it or not.
	Coming off as cold and unapproachable works greatly to Kentarou's advantage. Ever since the rape incident during his teenage years, he avoids skinship at all costs. Though he doesn't avoid it because he doesn't like it. He avoids it because he flinches away from any form of skinship that he doesn't initiate. He doesn't really mean to, he just does it without realizing. He secretly beats himself up over this because he honestly just wants people to be able to reach out to touch him or hold him without thinking he's scared or that he doesn't like them. This is one of the biggest secrets he keeps from his fans and from his group members. He doesn't want anyone to know about it and has done a pretty good job of hiding it seeing as his grumpy persona does a good job of keeping his group members from messing with him.
	Under Kentarou's cold exterior, he's truly a kind and caring person. He cares for and worries over his group members and his family much more than any of them know. After living so long, he knows the dangers and horrors that lurk in every shadow and he wants nothing more than for the younger people around him to avoid that and for them to just enjoy the small things in life. He always takes the fall for people he cares about because he feels responsible for them and obligated to make sure they have no troubles. He's immensely protective of those he cares about and will go to great lengths to make sure they're okay and comfortable, even going so far as to sacrifice his own well-being for them. He comes off as lazy and uncaring but he truthfully does anything he can to put the people around him first, including faking laziness in a moment in which he's not feeling lazy. For example, after a long day, he'll just sit down and go on with his usual "lazy" ways. However, by doing this, he's giving the other group members a chance to have the luxury of a warm shower and/or a warm meal while he takes a cold shower and just has microwaveable ramen. Although he goes to these lengths to make sure his group members are comfortable, he'd never let anyone know about it unless they confronted him about it and interrogated it out of him.
	Kentarou is a determined and devoted person, in all things. Once he sets his mind to something, he does it, whether the end result will be satisfactory or not. He's very stubborn and doesn't bend to anyone's will unless he wants to. He never quits anything he starts and sees it out until the end. He dedicates all of his time and focuses on whatever he is doing or to whatever, or whoever, needs it. He never hesitates when it comes to doing anything because he strongly believes in the concept of "YOLO". He doesn't like wasting any opportunities to say or do something that could change the flow of a conversation or even alter the future. He truly has no filter on his mouth nor his actions and tends to act and speak impulsively. This sometimes works at a disadvantage since he often insults people without realizing it but his honest, straightforward ways also make people respect him and flock to him for whatever passive aggressive or sassy advice he may give.
	Kentarou is, by no means, athletic or energetic. It's not that he's lazy, it's that he hates doing stuff that won't benefit him in the long run. He was born with a naturally healthy, lithe body so he sees no need to work out or play sports. He always tries to do minimal work during dance practice but he learns quickly so no one really says anything to him about, especially since he always performs well when it comes to the actual performance. Most people say that he must have a lower stamina than most vampires but he actually has a very high stamina. He did work out a lot and was very energetic up until he reached 150 years of age. If he were to actually put in the effort, he could easily beat any of the younger vampires in his group in a race. Although this is true, the only physical activities he is truly willing to do is, one, get up and walk to wherever he needs to be and, two, sex.
	Kentarou has been around to witness many things come into being but his favorite thing is definitely anime, and just digital art in general. He loves it, but you didn't hear that from me. He actively watches many different animes and always has since the first one was made. He has a subscription to the Crunchyroll anime site and has the app on his phone, keeping it in a place where his group members won't be able to spot it. Being an artist himself, he holds the same deep appreciation for digital artworks that he holds for physical artworks. He himself has an iPad with software he uses to draw with. Although he'd never admit it, he draws fanart of his group members, as well as his favorite animes, and posts it all under an alias on Tumblr. It's another secret of his that he works hard to keep hidden. He doesn't mind if people know of his drawing talent but he does not want anyone to know of his fanart.
