  1. Amasian started with an OOT request, 1st response. That’s not ideal whatsoever.
  2.
  3. Moving on to the actual fight:
  4. * Kenan: while the durability he was given is fine, his damage output is not reliable at all. It relies on scaling (ok) that wasn’t at all established (not ok). Why should I believe that Kenan can in fact replicate the strength and heat vision feats listed? There are no scans proving it.
  5. * Cho: the assertion that he’s strong enough to stalemate the Tier-Setter is sufficient. It would have helped to elaborate on it a bit more, but since by joining and participating in this Tourney one is already expected to know the Tier-Setter, it seems enough for the 1st response.
  6. * Sunfire: sufficient arguments as well, with the durability being based on layered Tier-Setter scaling. Heat goes hot.
  7. Somewhat decent attacking of the opposing team’s physicals.
  8.
  9. Amasian completely ignored Meruem, which shows how confident he is that Meruem will be OOT’d - not smart at all.
  10.
  11. Archilas followed his opponent’s steps and opened up with 2 OOT requests.
  12.
  13. Firstly, your back-up doesn’t join the match until one of your characters is officially OOT’d. You get to use the back-up in the next round if you do get a combatant OOT’d.
  14.
  15. While Archilas’ points are not necessarily wrong, or even bad points... I can’t tell, because zero scans were linked. Linking Tsunade’s and Kimimaro’s RT does him nothing, because you didn’t post any evidence regarding how these two characters scale to your combatant(s). Such things might even be “obvious” for someone who’s familiar to the series, but it’s your job to provide evidence in such sense.
  16.
  17. No evidence was provided, thus this response is almost entirely useless.
  18.
  19. Amasian’s 2nd response was quite the short one, but it’s justified given Archilas’ lack of evidence for his arguments.
  20.
  21. Archilas’ 2nd response was yet again devoid of scans to back up his several claims regarding his team’s superiority.
  22.
  23. “How can they counter sound based genjutsu? How can they avoid being paralyzed by White Rage? How they can hurt Kabuto who can liquify himself? How they can avoid being digested in a toad's stomach? How they can get to Jiraiya and Kabuto before they enter SM?” - you could start by posting scans of what all these things are and how do they actually work.
  24.
  25. 3rd response, Amasian refuted most of his opponent’s points, which were already pretty non-existant given that they didn’t have evidence backing them up. Good.
  26.
  27. 3rd response, Archilas provided some scans, which gives him a bit more strength regarding certain points - but the vast majority of his arguments (90%) still go widely unsourced. Even arguments such as “Kabuto definitely scales above this” must be backed up by scans, as you can’t assume everyone is familiar with Naruto scaling.
  28.
  29. Overall both sides could have done way better, proposing solid win conditions and backing up claims with more scans.
  30. However, Archilas’ claims going mostly down the drain due to no evidence whatsoever, Amasian wins nearly by default. Amasian established enough regarding his characters - heat, physicals, sufficient scaling to the Tier-Setter - for me to believe that his opponent’s team can win.
  31.
  32. I give the win to Amasian.
  33.
  34. OOT requests:
  35.
  36. * Meruem: the main problem seems to be the his long-range blast, which would most definitely wreck Thing with one hit if it’s dead-on. That said, he’d need to be some kind of glass cannon or such to be in-tier. He isn’t. While his physical strength doesn’t seem to be a problem, it looks like his durability is a bit beyond what Thing can output with his fists in a reasonable amount of time.
  37.
  38. - Thing is left facing someone who can apparently fly, OHKO with a long-range blast, and tank dozens of hits from him with no problem. I vote Meruem as OOT.
  39.
  40. * Sunfire and Kenan: no. Neither were argued as OOT, nor is any of the scaling provided enough to make said characters OOT. Vague scaling to Iron Man, Namor and baseless scaling to Superman doesn’t make one combatant out of tier. Thing, the Tier-Setter himself, scales to some of these characters.
