One of Hyuntae's biggest weaknesses is knowing how to sugarcoat things when he says them. Instead of trying to find a way to put it nicely, he is very blunt and often quite rude with the way he says things.

Hyuntae along with some other acting trainees were doing an improv class and with their teacher. Their teacher needed to sort something out in another practice room, whilst he was out, he put Hyuntae in charge as he was one of the senior trainees. He and the group were practicing a scene but one of the trainees was struggling with their facial expressions and so Hyuntae kept making them repeat the scene.

"That was really bad, go again"

"Your face looks dead, do it again"

"Are you even trying? Go again"

Hyuntae kept saying stuff like this to the trainee, disregarding their feelings and the other trainees were too scared to tell him that he was being mean. Whilst the other trainees were on a break, Hyuntae made him work for longer, making him work on the scene they were doing for longer. After a bit, the trainee was showing signs of improvement
