tl;dr This was probably my favorite GDQ by a large margin, thanks everyone for making it amazing!

I was kinda dreading going to this GDQ for a couple reasons, mostly that I had only been home for a week after traveling for Christmas and I hit a really bad bipolar spike right before I left. I was expecting to just be drained and in a shitty mood the entire time, but thankfully that didn't end up being the case.

I guess I'll start with the only real bad this GDQ had and I'll keep it pretty vague. There were a couple people (who won't be named) at this event that REALLY pissed me off. I've had people annoy/bug me at GDQs before but this event easily took the cake on the irritability scale. This was partially probably due to the aforementioned bipolar spike, but that really just thinned my patience more than anything.

Anyways, on to the good cuz there's a lot of it. First and foremost I feel like this was the event where my time was budgeted almost perfectly. I got to spend a lot of time with a good variety of people and never felt like anyone got short-changed or not hung out with enough. On top of that, I spent a good amount of time away from the venue doing stuff but again, it felt like a perfect amount. Highlights of stuff I did with people:
- Escape Room: if you're making an escape room, don't put a key in a fucking door frame
- Surprise Trade Race w/ Gedrith, Myzl, and Herc: I didn't win but I spent 20min playing with Snom so it was worth it
- Crystal Bingo w/ alta, Myzl, and Herc: something that usually gets shoved into oblivion and doesn't happen or is miserable, but was actually really fun this time (apart from me not noticing I had won and accidentally getting 6 bingos after Dark Cave fucked me)
- Board Games: didn't play a ton this event, but Root and Just One were both incredible, glad I got a couple Cryptid games as well
- Magic w/ alta, Forrest, Zach, cfb, Tayman, and Iyce: this was the first GDQ I actually had a chance to play Commander with people and it was AMAZING, definitely gonna be a GDQ staple
- TopGolf w/ people I'm too lazy to list: hadn't done this yet at prior GDQs mostly cuz I wasn't sure what it really was, but it's basically bowling with golf instead and it was fucking dope, gonna have to go to the one near me more often
- Mai Mai: wound up finally giving this game a shot on one of the last nights cuz I was helping alta stay awake for Trauma Center and I accidentally wound up playing it for like 3 hours and destroying my arms (when they were already tired af after TopGolf)

Plans now that AGDQ is over:
- massive-ish stream rebrand (possibly a new name as well, still unsure)
- Teamfight Tactics (not abbreviating this so you shitters can't meme about Team Fortress 2, get out)
- Sword/Shield VGC (probably going in harder after Pokémon Home releases next month)
- Eternal Sonata for RPGLB2020
- return to Paper Mario (probably Glitchless > All Cards > ???)
- replay Code Vein after all 3 DLCs come out to also try to get used to mouse+keyboard and then possibly return to speedruns
- massive casual game backlog (might stream some of it)
