- The Mafia Boss has 3 different modes:
- -- Mode A --
- Health: 4
- Potential attacks: Spin, Beanbags, Electric Strike, Get Angry
- The first attack of the first cycle of Mode A must be Spin.
- -- Mode B --
- Health: 2
- Potential attacks: Beanbags, Throw Cutters, Get Angry
- The first attack of the first cycle of Mode B must be Throw Cutters.
- -- Mode C --
- Health: 4
- Potential attacks: Spin, Mafia Ball, Super Electric Strike, Get Angry
- The first attack of the first cycle of Mode C must be Mafia Ball.
- Speedruns do the Quick Kill here, so the only attack that we ever see in Mode C is Mafia Ball.
- At the start of each cycle, all the potential attacks for the current mode are sorted in a random order. However, the first attack of a cycle cannot be the same as the last attack of the previous cycle, and the first attack of the first cycle of a mode is required to be a specific attack. The attacks are then performed in order until either:
- - There are no more attacks left in the current cycle. This means that the end of the cycle has been reached, so the potential attacks are once again sorted in a random order. The next cycle of the current mode begins.
- - The boss runs out of health. This means that the end of the mode has been reached, so the current cycle ends. If there are any attacks left in the current cycle, they will not be performed. The first cycle of the next mode begins.
- Because the Mafia Boss has 4 health in Mode A and 2 health in Mode B, we are guaranteed to go through a full cycle + at least a partial cycle of Mode A, and a full cycle + at least a partial cycle of Mode B. This means that all potential time loss occurs in the second cycle of Mode A and the second cycle of Mode B.
- -- Potential Time Losses --
- Beanbags: 6 seconds
- Get Angry: 1.5 seconds
- -- Overall Distribution --
- 2 Beanbags, 2 Get Angry +0 seconds 9.25%
