Be careful around her because she is extremely persuasive. She could easily play the role of the evil queen in sleeping beauty. She can say all the right things with all the bad intentions and lure you into her unbreakable spell that no one can resist. She has her own way of getting things and if she wants it, she will get it at any cost.

Byeol lives up to the meaning of her name: star. In a crowd of people, she shines bright. You can't not notice her. It's something about her tough and mysterious facade that makes her the magnet of attention- which she loves. She's not your typical girly girl or a damsel in a distress, she is the complete opposite. She's independent and can handle everything on her own, without needing the help of anyone, especially her father.

Her high self-reliance can be toxic, she pushes away people who only want to help. She assumes the worst in everyone and sees the world through a peephole. She thinks that they'll eventually let her down in the end but she has yet to learn that there are people out there who aren't like her father. Right now, she's just too blinded to see it and instead of building bridges, she creates brick walls. This has led her to the thinking that attachments are just not for her. She believes that having someone to hold is equivalent to vulnerability and this girl is anything but vulnerable.

Byeol's and her mother's identity were hidden from the public by her father. Which she once thought was a mere security protocol, her father being a public figure and all but when she grew up, she discovered that it was just him trying to protect his image by covering up his mistakes. Born out of a drunk one night stand, she was told that she was nothing but a disgrace of a daughter and if that wasn't enough to suffice as a reason to despise her own father, he gave her another one. He faked her mother's death by saying it was an assassination but she was done believing in his stupid lies and turns out, her theories were correct. he ordered to kill the mother of his only child and acted like it wasn't his fault.

first reactions to 2017: after being placed in a coma, a normal reaction would be to b shocked and appalled but Byeol is far from ordinary, she reacts by letting out a mischievous laugh. She loves the feeling of being one of the chosen eves and the power it gives her.

how do they and how well do they adjust to 2017: She, used to change, would adapt very well after getting the ropes. Her independent soul allows her to venture on a journey to discover the world she has to live in. She'll probably explore a little, find out what she can and see what she can do to fuck it all up.

Kim Namjoon is the epitome of tragedy. He's lost everything he once valued: his fiancé, his college degree and money, all at the same time. After the unfortunate events, his last resort was to start up a barber shop with his broke sister, insisting to help her since she was all he had left. He focuses too much on helping others and forgets about himself wholly. That's his fatal flaw, he entangles himself in other people's mess and tries to fix it before fixing the chaos in himself that he still can't seem to accept. Then, for once, the world listened to him and the blunt & straightforward Lee Byeol came into his life, telling him what he needs to hear most even if he doesn't want to listen.

how do they meet:

When two mourning souls encounter a downpour of rain while visiting their late loved ones, they have no choice but to stay together because one person forgot to bring an umbrella- and that would be Byeol. She was about to start begging to the heavens above when she felt raindrops on the crown of her head and when she put out her hand, it was drizzling. Good thing namjoon who was walking hurriedly to the subway caught sight of the about to-be drenched girl and saved her from her own misery. He offered to help which she half-heartedly accepted because she hated admitting defeat but she knew that if she didn't, the consequence would be a second shower of the day and this one isn't a clean one.

interactions/trivia ( how they act around each other, first impressions, things they do together, etc. ):

Kim Namjoon brings out the sunshine of Byeol that she didn't even know was there. Whenever they're together, they're always laughing and smiling at the tiniest of things which is quite rare for the both of them. They'd be the type of couple that are best friends at the same time, there is no awkwardness between them, only comfort in each other's presence. I think they would prefer more unconventional and adventurous activities like hiking Mt. everest or something out of the ordinary dinner dates and movie nights.

how their relationship develops:

Considering their relationship started off in a rush with both of them under one tiny umbrella while they ran towards the subway station a few miles away in the pouring rain. From that, they progressed onto having an insightful conversation on the bullet train that led them to be much closer. Namjoon, being the shy type he is, didn't actually text first, she did. She grew impatient after a whole day of waiting for his text and texted him herself. Then the texts became meet-ups, meet-ups became staying over at each other's house and until all of it became familiar, like it was weird not having her beside him every night.

maybe her pushing him way purposely after feeling some sort of attachment; she tells him to leave, gets him mad and makes it easier for him to leave. He doesn't leave even when he's hurting because he knows that deep inside, she wants him to stay.
