- I (m33)Started seeing someone (f36) recently. We've only met a couple times but things are going really well so far. Last date we had at her place and got takeout because she had been having a rough week and day. As much as it continued to cement my growing feelings for her and that she's a genuinely interesting and lovely human; it also brought to the fore a few things that have me nervous about pressing on with her. However, I'm not sure if these are things I should learn to live with or if they are genuine incompatibilities that would spell disaster long term. Some are definitely a little silly/petty and I'm including them for levity.
- She has a pet bird.
- Her apartment is kept at like, 90 degrees in the winter (she can't control the temp). She loves this, and also even sleeps under a heavy weighted blanket. I like to sleep in a cool room in the upper 60's normally, under a big soft warm duvet.
- She travels a ton on a whim, BUT, that might be ending soon. She has access to free tickets via a family member who works for an airline. That family member is retiring though so her trip this week might be the last big one for awhile for her. I have never done much traveling and would like to get into it more, but probably not to that degree.
- Mediocre but not terrible kisser
- Thoughts on how to sort through stuff like that? Have any funny/petty dealbreakers from past dating you can share? I'm always up for stories :)
