Appearance: Shinchū Mode resembles a monstrously large, humanoid silk moth with a seafoam green, mint green and white color scheme, two pairs of wings shaped like bat wings with markings resembling menacing eyes, seven, long scythe-like claws on each hand, four arms and two legs with an appearance similar to Hitmonlee’s legs, a large abdomen with a green stinger at the end, a large a fuzzy hide covered in fluff, puffs of fluff around their wrists and a large fluffy collar of fuzz around their neck that covers their mouth, said mouth being a horrifyingly stretched out maw filled with snaggletoothed fangs similar to Malebolgia’s from Spawn with the addition of insectoid mandibles on the sides of their maw and long, flowing, feather-like antenna.

Powers & Abilities
- Positive Force Manipulation - Shinchū Merge has the ability to manipulate Positive Force, which is holy energy associated with good and beneficial forces and effects such as healing and enlightenment, Shinchū Merge can generate, shape and project positive force to achieve many fears and effects, especially towards dark and demonic forces, including but not limited to Salvation, Banishment, Blessing, Exorcism, Disease/Curse Removal, Healing, Sanctification, Absolute Filtration, Malevolence Nullification, Prayer Casting, Demonic Power Negation, Good Manipulation, Health Manipulation, Virtue Manipulation, Karma Inducement, Morality Conversion and more. Shinchū Merge can even use positive force offensively when used against beings of pure evil, projecting positive force to a wide variety of different attacks and powerful techniques, forming constructs out of positive force, imbuing their physical attacks with positive force etc.
- Positive Element Manipulation - Shinchū Merge is even capable of channeling positive force energy into the form of elements with holy and positive properties, these elements being harmful to dark and demonic beings but beneficial to everything else, these positive versions of elements include Holy Water, White Fire, Heavenly Lightning, Pure Ice, Divine Light and Healing Plant life. Shinchū Merge can even project these holy elements to many different attacks much like with regular positive force. These positive elements can have varying positive uses when used on good beings, such as heavenly lightning being used as a method of defibrillation.
- Magical Medicine Manipulation - Shinchū Merge is capable of the administration of holy medicine brewed from positive force via the stinger on their abdomen capable of a wide range of beneficial effects such as healing, curation, purification, strengthening, resurrection, adrenaline, invulnerability bestowing etc. as well as serums specializing in disadvantaging demonic beings in a variety of ways when administered into their bodies by being stung by Shinchū Mode’s stinger. Shinchū Merge can even synthesize their holy medicines in pill form for allies to use later when given enough time to do so.
- Protection Manipulation - Shinchū is a literal guardian angel taking the form of a giant, fluffy moth and can manipulate the forces of protection to protect others from almost all forms of harm by using positive force to create force fields, barriers and domes out of energy capable of deflecting any demonic attack as well as protect others from a variety of harmful forces such as disease, poison, mental attacks etc.
- Silk Manipulation - Shinchū Merge is capable of generating and manipulating more than a hundred metric tons of silk threading imbued with positive force from their mouth, hands and stinger, said silk having tensile strength one million times stronger than steel and capable of weakening and damaging demons that are wrapped/cocooned in it or healing/strengthening allies making contact with it, allowing Shinchū Merge to use both offensively and defensively in combat and as yet another method of supporting allies and others in need.
- Demonic Consumption - Shinchū Merge has a unique and equally insatiable appetite for all things dark and demonic, having the capability of consuming demons and demonic energy/forces, whether by swallowing demons or ripping them apart with their scythe-like claws and eating them bit by bit, they can also literally consume all forms of demonic energy and forces such as demonic souls, demonic energy attacks, sins, darkness/shadows, evil energies plaguing the souls of other beings etc. Shinchū derives not only sustenance from consuming demonic things but power as well, becoming larger, stronger, a greater well of energy and the capability to expel stronger energy attacks after consuming demons or demonic energy.
- Demonic Immunity - Being the ultimate demon slayer and counter to such forces, Shinchū Merge is highly resistant towards anything that is demonic in nature such as the physical strikes and attacks of demonic enemies, demonic energy, hellfire, Dark Element attacks, Negative Force attacks and is even outright immune to many effects caused by dark powers such as curses/hexes, possession, mental attacks, Grim Poison (demonic variety of poisoning) etc.
- Magic Claws - Shinchū Merge possesses seven blade-like claws on each hand that are enchanted with positive forces, allowing Shinchū Merge to slice and dice through demons and demonic beasts as if they’re made of butter and they are naturally so sharp that they can cut through most materials as well. After an update, Shinchū Merge can merge their claws into giant scythes.
- Spring Limbs - Shinchū Mode’s limbs are capable of extending in a similar fashion to springs in order to reach impressive distances and attack or reach for something up to two miles away and Shinchū Merge can strike with impressive force via spring-loaded punches and slash attacks.
- Disease Immunity - Shinchū Merge is immune to all forms of disease, including supernatural diseases caused by demons and other supernatural entities.
- Supernatural Condition - Shinchū Merge possesses physical capabilities great enough to overpower almost any enemy, demon or otherwise that Shinchū Merge comes across, the well of positive force he has contained in their system giving them incredible power and the drive to protect and heal.

Weaknesses
- Guardianship - Shinchū Merge is a Merge Mode centered around protection and healing, resulting in being incapable of harming anyone with enough good in their soul to not be considered evil and instead is more suited in being used towards beings that are pure evil, such as demons and yet even then, Shinchū Merge is incapable of harming demons that are good or even neutral. This results in Shinchū Merge being unsuitable for fighting most enemies as they can only directly harm hose that are considered pure evil.
- Transcendent Demons - Despite their status as a divine demon slayer, Shinchū Merge can be at a disadvantage towards demons of godlike status, such as Devils and Archfiends due to possessing demonic power and control over Negative Force strong enough to potentially overpower Shinchū Merge and their positive force abilities.
- Limited Energy - Although possessing a very high well of energy, Shinchū Merge is capable of running low on positive force energy after exerting themselves enough or using their positive force abilities without a break and said abilities become less effective the less energy they possess but they can recharge on energy by consuming demons and demonic energy.
- Uncontrollable Appetite - Shinchū Merge has a ravenous and practically insatiable appetite for demons and can sometimes get carried away if they allow their hunger to think for them, causing Shinchū Merge to enter a mindless feeding frenzy as a result.

Notes
- Shinchū Merge is based on and named after the Shinchū, a divine insect from Buddhist cosmology taking the form of a giant, monstrous silk moth that acts as a guardian deity as it protects humans and devours demons and evil spirits, especially those that cause disease, bringing an end to the epidemics they cause and ushering in recovery from sickness to people and the environment in it’s place. The Shinchū is described as possessing an immense appetite for demons, said to being capable of consuming more than three thousand demons in the morning and than three thousand more in the evening, leaving massive pools of blood and dismembered limbs of demons in their wake.
- The Shinchū is believed to be a Yokai of divine status in Japanese denominations of Buddhism that lives in the top of mountains and is said to mostly feed on the Yakubyo Gami, demonic Yokai that are harbingers of disease and plagues.
- Onawa, Duncan, Susan and others would gain and frequently use powerful medicine created by Shinchū Merge in the future whenever they need to heal or gain a significant boost in battle. The most notable example of magical medication created by Shinchū Merge being Future Susan’s Chi Pills, special vitamins capable of refueling Susan’s chi points and greatly empowering her chi attacks and techniques as a result.
- Shinchū Merge is a Merge Mode of my creation that has went through the most combination of Series until finally settling on Insect/Support, the others being Insect/Yokai, Yokai/Support, Insect/Conceptual, Yokai/Conceptual, Insect/Eater and Yokai/Eater.
- Shinchū Mode is one of two Merge Modes capable of manipulating positive force, the other being Salvation Mode, however the key difference is that Shinchū Merge can utilize positive force for offensive purposes while Salvation Merge cannot, being purely defensive and support-oriented.
- Shinchū Merge having they/them pronouns is a reference to how some species of butterflies and moths can change genders after reaching metamorphosis.
- Shinchū Mode’s favorite food (aside from demons of course) is Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, a variety of shark fin soup that consists of more than thirty different ingredients and takes 2-3 days of careful simmering to properly prepare.
- Shinchū Merge was created with the idea of a Merge Mode that is horrifying and monstrous in appearance but is very chill and helpful, much like the actual creature that they are based on.
- Shinchū Mode’s Armament, the Monk Staff is a moth-themed staff that allows the wielder to manipulate positive force and Shinchū Mode’s magical silk.
