- you still have a bit more to config and its all in relation to madVR but I havnt written that yet. I i would you I would just open it up and poke around there should be enough stuff in there taht you should be able to figure out or at least try some stuff.
- to edit madvr settings
- open a video and pause it
- right click the video and click Filters > madVR
- Click edit settings
- ***the below steps are from the original readme slightly modified and continue from where I left off. This is just a starting point as there are far more options now then when I originally wrote this. I may find a way for at least the default settings to have a config file.***
- click and expand devices then click your device
- set the device type
- expand your device and set the display mode *if you dont know what display mode you should set contact me
- click and expand processing
- turn of all decoding and deinterlacing
- click and expand scaling algorithems
- click chroma upscaling and set it to Catmull-Rom
- click luma upscaling and set it to Catmull-Rom and check scale in linear light
- click luma downscaling and set it to Catmull-Rom and check scale in linear light
- click and expand rendering and click general setings
- check disable desktop composition and uncheck only in fullscreen
- hit apply the ok at the bottom then ok and the window that is still on screen
- *if you have problems with preformance its probably because you dont have a powerful enough GPU contact me for help adjusting or try disabling madVR
- as for space being pause play that like teh standard in every player including WMP and most software dvd/bd players
- some other controls
- Alt+Enter is fullscreen
- Esc is exit fullscreen (it will also pause when you do this)
- PgUp and PgDn and previous and next chapter
- left and right arrows are skip back and forward
- Ctrl + left and right arrows and skip back and forward by frame
- Ctrl + J to see current madVR stats and check for dropped frames and frame timing
