  1. This document is a rough outline of what people should take into account when doing v8.4 team blackout bingos.
  2. It won't be able to cover the complexity of all different boards so coming up with own thoughts and analysis of previous bingos with your routing is crucial. (This is not a replacement for personal routing abilities. It is designed to help beginners and remind intermediate players of some basics.)
  3.
  4. Each team bingo should be optimized under these aspects to achieve the lowest overall time:
  5.
  6. - synergy of each player's route
  7. - equal goal distribution (not necessarily the amount of goals but everyone should finish at the same time)
  8. - avoid overlapping (getting ZL, deep RBA, visiting far places, etc. with multiple players)
  9. - personal goal preferences
  10.
  11.
  12. typical guidelines when looking at a board (depends on team size, suggestions are aiming at 3 players per team):
  13.
  14. - back in time goals (Frog's HP, All 4 Market GS)
  15. -> these require going back in time; one player needs to cover that option and route in other goals appropriately
  16.
  17. - goals which require high commitment or preparation (8/9 Hearts, Maps, Compasses)
  18. -> which other goals go well together with it?
  19. -> Fire goals is a free compass, Forest is a free HC, etc.
  20.
  21. - ZL goals
  22. -> can one player finish all ZL goals or would another player also benefit from warp songs? (Poacher's Saw RBA)
  23.
  24. - back in time synergy (Din's Fire, Win Bombchu Bowling Prize, All 4 Wasteland/Colossus GS, At least 9 Magic Beans, Plant bean in DMC)
  25. -> requires beating Forest and skipping/watching Prelude (also opening DoT if you set up for BA unless you play on VC/GC)
  26. -> really useful if a player is defeating Phantom Ganon for HC, etc.
  27. -> possibility to fix upgrades after RBA (Bullet Bag (40), Goron Bracelet)
  28.
  29. - mutually exclusive/double goals (Golden and Bronze Gauntlets, 8 Hearts and 9 Hearts, Defeat Barinade twice, etc.)
  30.
  31. - item skips (chus, legit bombs, Hover Boots, Hookshot)
  32. -> do they save time overall? is it worth taking the risk vs. lacking consistency? can you take goals from other players that would benefit from these items?
  33.
  34. - item usage (Boomerang for GS, Longshot for movement/skips, FW/Din's Fire)
  35.
  36. - which goals can be done by the people who finish first with their goals to balance the players more evenly?
