- Q: What are the main differences between TPHD and regular TP?
- TPHD doesn't currently have early master sword or map glitch. Also it has horrible horse controls and a "free" camera.
- Overall though I like the controls better, just will take a lot of getting used to.
- Q: Is this the optimal route?
- At the moment, yes. I spent a lot of time working on this route and though it has room for improvement for sure, it is definitely the fastest route in use.
- Here is a link to my route notes: http://pastebin.com/n2huq5sh
- Q: Does 100% include the Colossal Wallet/Wolf Amiibo dungeon?
- At the moment there are two categories for 100%, one where Amiibo are banned and one where they are not. I will run TPHD 100% with Amiibo because every other 100% run so far uses Amiibo.
- Q: Wouldn't it be better to just have a single 100% category?
- Yes, but it is impossible to have everyone agree if "DLC" should be included in 100% so it's set up this way to not prevent people from running the game.
- Q: What does 100% require?
- speedrun.com/tphd click on the category and "show rules"
- Q: How different is this from regular TP 100%?
- Pretty different because of patched glitches and the addition of stamps. We must collect all stamps in TPHD 100%. Also, at the moment it appears that Early Master Sword is impossible, so that changes the route quite a bit. If someone finds a way to get Early Master Sword in TPHD, the 100% route will change dramatically and get about 15 minutes faster!
- Q: Will you run regular TP 100%?
- I'd say there's a very high chance, regular TP has a more exciting route with more glitches, I figured with the release of TPHD it'd make sense to do that first though. I'll probably run regular TP 100% after I'm happy with my HD time.
- Q: Why 100% and not any%?
- I will probably run any% at some point, but because so much was patched the any% run doesn't look that exciting to me. When the any% route is solidified I will certainly take a look at it.
- Q: WHEN WILL YOU RUN SUNSHINE?!?!?!
- My hands hurt when I play sunshine. My hands don't hurt when I play TP or TPHD. When the hand pain goes away and I feel 100% comfortable with it, I will go back to sunshine. I am definitely not done with that game forever.
