The Loset-Palles family is a quiet one in general-- the tendency to remain tight-lipped and withholding was passed down from Petrea and Guillame to Tilly and Theo.

[b]Distrustful [/b]
As children, Tilly and Theo had their hearts (and trust) broken by their cousin-- Aubrie. Having loved her as a "triplet"-- an extended part of their hearts, and been betrayed, the twins became severely distrustful.

As a result of their distrust, the twins set out to be self-reliant (though dependent on one another) financially. Which in turn, had a ripple effect in their lives. Everything is thrifted, every nuance of their lives combed through for efficiency and safety.
