Guardians of the School - Tasha 7MA

"Hope you like being splashed with water! Especially toilet water!" Zara and Jacie threw the bucket of toilet water onto Yuri, she shrieked as she got a mouth full of toilet water that was unfortunately yellow.

"How'd you like that you worthless, ugly child" Zara said in a cheerful voice, she placed the empty, silver bucket on Yuri's head. Although she had the bucket on her head, the tears bursted from her eyes like a busted pipe, those tears turned her hazel eyes into her blur.

"Where do you two think where you're going!" The voice was loud, loud like thunder as it echoed through the girls toilets.

"Come on Zara! Let's get out of here! The two tried to dart for the door but the stranger tripped them to their feet.

"Y'all ain't gonna get away with this! I swear you won't this time!" Yuri's emotions went form sadness to happiness as this stranger was helping her, Yuri pulled the bucket off her head only to see the girls hanging from the stall doors. The stranger wore the same outfit Yuri was wearing (checkered blue dress, navy tights with a pair of black t-bars, last but not least she wore a jumper that had cherry and gold stripes on the collar and cuffs that had the GHS logo on it) but she had never seen her around before.

"W-Who are you?" Yuri asked politely

"I'm Barwon, one of the guardians that belong at this school! You can probably easily tell that because of my hair colour (wavy, royal blue hair because barwons house colour is blue)"

"I've never seen you around before, are you new or, something?" Questioned Yuri kindly

"I'm not new, I've been here for a total of 93 years silly (The schools houses were made in 1925), how could you not know that!"

Yuri started to think, she remembered about reading about the schools history in Humanities 5 weeks ago but it never said anything about guardians, maybe this was some sort of joke or something else.

"Uhh yea, I have to get going to my cla-"

"Don't you understand Yuri! People don't like you so you have to change them!"

Barwon put her arm around Yuri's shoulder, maybe Barwon wasn't that bad of a person.

"Maybe if they found out that you're such a kind and caring person, if you slowly let people bully you, nothing's going to get better"

"..." Yuri just stood still, uninterested.

Yuri stared at Barwons blue eyes, Yuri could sense danger coming from somewhere.

"I only want to help you, and keep you safe. Are you willing to have me as your mentor?" (Having her as Yuri's mentor would make sense as the two of them are both in Barwon).

"Are you sure you'll protect me, and help me?"

"Yes, I am sure. If I'm capable of winning swimming(11 times),athletics(12 times) AND Cross country(10 times) I'm sure you can trust me! Barwon will prevail over the other houses!"

Barwon lifted her arm, making a fist,

"BARWON WILL PREVAIL!"

"Ok, you can stop now. I accept your offer"

"Righto my friend, let's go!"

"I have classes to go to, I should get going..."

"Awwww, I guess I'll see you later then? In the gym?"

"Yea......I guess so"

In a blink of a eye, Barwon was gone. Yuri darted to her locker.

"Huh?" A note fell out of her locker, must've been another unnecessary threat note to her, Yuri threw it aside and shut her locker, locking it. It was another normal day for her with the usual bullying that Yuri didn't really care about, at least she got the highest score in her Japanese Kahoot.

"Hmmm, that girl named Barwon said she wanted to meet her in the gym, how am I supposed to get in there?" Yuri thought about this for a while until she decided not to go in.

"Heh,heh,heh,Oh!, your here now, guess I was too slow getting here" Barwon was panting after running a bit

"I'm usually better then this, why the heck am i panting?"

"I don't know..."

"Well anyways, thanks for meeting me here, I guess we should go in"

"But the door is locked"

"Not for me!"

Barwon walked over to the door, as she placed her palm of her hand, there was a clinking sound.

"See! It's unlocked now" Barwon pulled the handle down and pushed the door open

"Oh, indeed it did" Yuri did a short and quick clap, she followed Barwon inside the foyer quickly.

Strangely enough, no teachers were in the sports staff room.

"I would like to introduce you to my friends!"

Yuri could see 3 other people, first of, they were all wearing the sports uniform except for one girl.

"So this is the girl you were talking about Barwon?"

"Yes Corio, this is the one!"

Corio was a tall boy that was obviously in Corio because he had emerald coloured slicked hair that was side parted, Corio also had emerald eyes that were brighter then the sun. Corio definitely looked like a person who loved basketball since he had one with him.

"Hey hey! it's a pleasure to meet you Yuri!" Corio started to laugh uncontrollably for no reason, another girl pushed him aside.

"Don't worry about him, he laughs quite a lot"

The girl who spoke to Yuri was Leigh, like the house of red, Leigh had red eyes that made her look a little, evil. She wore her sports uniform that had a red stripe on it, Corios sports uniform had a green stripe. Leigh's hair was quite interesting to Yuri because she had a red braid along with what must've been a headband with little yellow horns (because Leigh's mascot is a devil).

"Hmmm, it's interesting how much the school has changed, especially after they made the terrible choice of merging the houses together" Leigh said calmly, she wanted to talk about the schools past

"Oh yea, I remember when they did that, it was quite a trashy idea, like Barrabool doesn't even make sense, especially saying its a combo of blue and red because it's more like blue and yellow" Barwon said

A very tall boy peered from the weights room, the last one of the 3 houses was Moorabool, his hair was long and messy but it waved in the wind. Moorabool didn't say anything to her but walked straight pass her, into the gym. Barwon and Yuri walked into the gym.

"Hey Corio! What are you doing!" Barwon shouted in joy

"O-Oh! I'm just uhhh......getting something!" Corio stuttered

"Oh, ok!" The gym doors slammed shut with a bang. Corio walked up to the sports staff room and pulled the handle down, as he walked into to office there were plenty of goodies that could be stolen by students, Corio grabbed the cyber key and crammed it into his pocket, he then walked over to a desk that had a few ordinary items scattered over it, but what caught his eye was a wallet, why would a teacher leave a wallet laying around.

"Ohohoh, that's surprising, a wallet left on a desk unsupervised" Corio greedily snatched the wallet, as soon he was about to take the money out of it, Leigh shouted at him.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!" Leigh's voice boomed

"I-I uhh-" Corio was lost for words

"Don't you stutter at me! I'm not stupid Corio! Put those things back immediately!"

"I was putting the money back into the wallet!"

Leigh's eyes narrowed, her arms were crossed as she tapped her foot.

"I don't have time for this! And don't think I can't see that key hanging out of your pocket..."

Corio put everything back until.

"Uh oh! There's a teacher coming!" Leigh said, panicked

Leigh teleported, leaving behind some red smoke, then Corio and then Moorabool.

"Yuri, grab my hand!" Barwon shouted

"What! Why! Wa-!" Barwon grabbed her hand then teleported, leaving blue smoke behind.

Something didn't see right to Yuri, they were still in the same place.

"Uhhh...."

"Yea... You've teleported to the supernatural world with us, it may seem like you're still but you aren't, see, now you can see through the teacher like a ghost!" Barwon giggled the teacher walked into the office then out of the office. They all teleported back to the human world once the teacher left.

"Man, that was a close one" Moorabool said to the group

"And we would've gotten into trouble if it was for me!" Leigh crossed her arms again, she wondered why no one thanked her for her smartness "maybe if Corio didn't try and steal that stuf-"

Moorabool silenced the group, "no more complaining, we don't have time for this"

"Huh? Where's Corio?" Barwon asked. *CRASH!* The group jumped in fright.

"Awwww man....." Barwon sighed, sports equipment was rolling out of the gym

"Argh! You've got to be kidding me!" Leigh peered into the gym and saw Corio tossing and chucking things everywhere, Corio was surely stressed out.

"Will you stop Corio! Just respect the school property!" Now Leigh was getting annoyed.

Leigh stormed into the gym, she caught Corios attention.

"Arghh! What do you want from me!" Corio picked up a tennis racket and grabbed a tennis ball, he was prepared for a fight.

"I'm ready, don't thing I'm a scaredy cat, not my fault you've only won 4 things!"

"Says the one who won 4 as well!"

"Hey, I'm not such a sporty person like you" (Leigh doesn't really enjoy sport, she enjoys all the other subjects)

Leigh picked up a hockey stick and prepared for attack. Corio started to hit tennis balls at her, she hit the balls away with the hockey stick, surprising Yuri. Corio was out of balls so he started to run towards her.

"Sigh, kids like you disappoint me" Leigh put her hand out, seconds later his head was against her palm.

"Argh!" Corio tried to whack her with the racket, she pushed him away and forced him to the ground with her foot.

"Treat me with disrespect and you'll pay"

Everyone was stunned at the sight. (End of Monday 26, 2018)

Just like every other day, Yuri had to deal with bullying once again but today wasn't gonna be good as she had sport, the absolute worse subject to her. The other subjects passed by but then sports comes along.

"Alright everyone! 7MA on that side and 7LB on that side, we are going to play Cone Raid!"

The two classes rushed to the sides they were set on.

"Put your hands on the wall and get the balls when I say go!" (Both classes already knew how to play)

Both classes were inpatient, they just wanted to play and win.

"GO!"

Everyone rushed to the balls, one boy named Phillips was able to get two balls, he was one of those kids that just loved sports.

"Phillips! Give me the ball!" He passed it to another tall boy named Doyle, Doyle threw the ball at the other teams cone, it missed. After some time passed, they were hardly anyone on 7MAs team, there was only Yuri, Mey, Isaac and Trevon left.

"Mey! Hit the cone!" The rest of the team shouted, Trevon ran away from the last cone leaving Yuri to defend it. As the fury raged between the two teams, everyone wanted their own team to win. Yuri stumbled and knocked her teams only cone down.

"HOORAY! LEIGH WINS!!!" 7LB shouted in joy, Yuri's own team groaned, Yuri had just ruined everything.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Phillips said annoyed, her team was disappointed in her once again. Yuri hated competitive people. She ran to the toilets to weep.

"Yuri?" Spoke a voice in the cold bathroom

"Huh? Who's that?"

"That's none of your concern, now, let's see what's happened to you"

Yuri could only hear a voice and nothing else, was she, dreaming?

"Ahhh, such a innocent and kind student, always wanting to hurt yourself because you constantly get bullied..."

Yuri wasn't quite sure on what to do in this situation, should she trust this, thing?

"You know, I can help you if you really want it"

Yuri walked out of the change rooms and saw a small girl holding a long stick of wood, it had a purple ribbon attached to it but you could hardly see the colour properly as this ghost girl was transparent.

"How can you help me?"

"You'll see, later"

"Why can't you just tell me now?"

"Because I can't. Anyways it will come at a price" Ibutsu smirked

"And that is?"

"You give me your body"

"W-What! No way!"

"Why not?"

"Because you will throw my soul aside and claim my body as your own!"

"JUST GIVE ME YOUR BODY!!"

Ibutsu's dragon wings expanded out, the tips of the wings almost touched both ends of the room.

"GIVE IT TO ME!"

As she tried to hit Yuri with the stick, Yuri quickly dodged then got up, running out of girls change rooms and into the gym (it was now empty).

"JUST GIVE IT TO ME SO I CAN BE FREE ONCE AGAIN!"

"Never!"

Now there was nothing but black fog appearing everywhere, it spread quickly like a squids ink, there was no escaping this now.

"S-Stay away!"

There was nothing to fight back with, she'll just have to lose this battle.
