  1. **This will not tell you HOW to randomize your game, nor will I or anyone else in the stream/chat. For that, you will need to use Google or another search engine of your choice**
  2.
  3. Here are the various things that have been changed (or commonly asked about) as a part of the Let's Go Randomizer:
  4.
  5. General Info
  6. I did not make the randomizer, and I definitely don't want to take credit for any of the work that was put in by others. I have added some extra logic (as you will see below) to my personal randomization process, but ultimately this is not my work
  7.
  8. Starter Pokemon
  9. The starter Pokemon (Eevee or Pikachu) is NOT randomized (and cannot be randomized as far as I'm aware). In all of my Randomizers, I make it a personal rule to box the starter as soon as possible to make sure I'm playing in a true randomizer spirit
  10.
  11. Wild Pokemon
  12. All wild Pokemon are randomized as you would expect, however I have added a few bits of logic to the process to make for a more balanced and fun (imo) experience:
  13. - Everything is given a 255 catch rate to make the focus on finding certain Pokemon, not dealing with horrible catch rates to actually get them
  14. - A water/grass Pokemon is guaranteed to spawn somewhere on Route 1, Route 22, Route 2 (North/South) or Viridian Forest. More than one can appear, but at least one is guaranteed. This is to make sure I am not walled by Brock
  15. - All Pokemon are guaranteed to appear somewhere in the wild, and they should have a roughly equal distribution (e.g. you won't find Pikachu in 9 places in the wild, but Eevee only 1)
  16. - All Gift and Static Pokemon are randomized (outside the starter). Trade Pokemon (both given and received) are randomized as well
  17. - Encounter slots have been modified to be more balanced for this style of play:
  18. - Ground has 7 slots with the following percentages: 20, 20, 15, 15, 10, 10, 10
  19. - Water and Sky have 3 slots with the following percentages: 60, 30, 10
  20. - There are two floors in Seafoam Islands (B3F and B4F) that have strength puzzles, and the randomizer allows for different encounters to appear before and after the puzzles are completed. For the sake of simplicity (and not having encounters that are impossible to get once you've done something in the game), those tables will be identical
  21. - Alolan forms, Mega Evolutions, and Meltan/Melmetal do not appear in the wild
  22.
  23. Moves
  24. - Fixed damage moves are banned (e.g. Dragon Rage)
  25. - All TMs are randomized and have 100% compatibility
  26. - All level up movesets are randomized
  27. - The first 4 moves of a level up set are set to Level 1. This does mean that if a Pokemon learns moves naturally at 1, 1, 5, 10, 15, they would instead learn moves at 1, 1, 1, 1, 15
  28.
  29. Evolutions
  30. - Trade evolutions are set to Level 37
  31.
  32. Items
  33. - Item pick ups are NOT randomized
