- Harvest Moon SNES
- Marriage Notes [Fish Route]
- [Updated 4 Nov 2024]
- GENERAL
- - Fish = 300G
- - Start with 300G, so need 19 fish
- - That's 10 days of fishing (9 days of 2x fish, 1 day of 1x fish)
- - If you get a lucky 3-fish day, you can improvise
- - Probably want to chop at least 3 stumps on each fishing day
- - The rest could be chopped between the farm and P-chan day
- - You want to be ahead on chopping so you can buy the house upgrade as soon as you have 5000G
- > That's 16 fish, so 8 days of fishing after the Ellen spam day
- > 4 stumps per day for each "normal" fishing day = 32 stumps, plus the 2 from the Ellen spam day = 34 stumps
- > So you need 8 more stumps. Probably route them in on the Ellen spam day and P-chan, maybe 4 and 4
- - Can't fish during P-chan, so this is strictly a wood-cutting day
- > The more you chop on P-chan day, the more leeway you have during fishing days; you can chop fewer stumps and have more time to fish
- > Chopping more stumps means more fatigue animations, however
- NOTES
- - Spring 1: Intros
- > Livestock dealer
- > Ann
- > Eve
- > Maria
- > Nina
- > Flower lady
- - Spring 2:
- > Get axe, chop stump outside shed (1)
- > Spam Ellen x25
- > At mountain, pop in and out of carpenter's
- > Chop x3, fish x1 (4)
- - Spring 3:
- > Can't fish because P-chan today
- > Chop x6 (10)
- > Talk to P-chan
- - Do 8 reps of chop x4, fish x2, on non-rainy days
- > On the 8th rep, order the house upgrade on your way up the mountain
- - Exit house on the next day to pay for upgrade, then do one more rep of fish x2
- - On the next non-rainy Sunday after house is finished, buy the Blue Feather
- - On the next non-rainy Saturday, propose to Ellen
- MISCELLANEOUS
- - For a safer but slower wood-cutting route, cut none on the spam day, and cut 10 on P-chan day
- - It might be faster to sell the final 2 fish to the Peddler directly, but I'm not sure
