  1. Judge Bob the Builder (Ceep)
  2.
  3. Hey there! Normally I’d recuse myself from the match, but due to specific cases here I can fill in for the other judges during finals season, and I have things to mention besides.
  4.
  5. Starting out, I think that the fundamental core of the strategy is extremely strong. Focusing Titan and Cal as utility and focusing in on utilizing their own workers well I feel turns the 3 skills of the various workers into powerhouses.
  6.
  7. The mechanical core of leaning on your workers’ Skills and putting attention into the processes of work just… works. Every individual piece of tech is well considered for the purposes of the match, and there isn’t anywhere that really feels neglected. Taking into account the conditions of the match and keeping the workers topped up stamina wise was great, and besides anything else I think… I don’t know how else to put it but that you SOLD the match. It was smooth, convincing, and nothing seemed out of place.
  8.
  9. I’ll be giving you guys a hearty 8/10 in Quality. I, personally, have a background in engineering and really, absolutely nothing seemed out of place here.
  10.
  11. I will mention one thing; more time spent on the structures of jigs, the placement of various processes, and some accession to how the spacial element would work would get this a higher score. While I felt I could understand the process of things well, I think to get past the barrier of “no real complaints, this was great” to 9 or 10 would have required a bit extra, even very basic diagrams. That said, take this nitpick for what it is; this is absolutely a strategy that deserves to bring its creators to Round 3.

  16. In light of the wonderful feedback you’ve gotten from your own fellow players, I’m keeping this one short. I am channelling my time helping my dad do odd jobs around the house, and my construction worker friends for this one. I see no notable mistakes in your quality; rather, you utilize your abilities and make great use of the NPCs in order to tackle each step in order, dedicating sufficient quality. You have an overall plan, you make sure to give each successive piece sufficient attention, and you keep a mind to all the various factors, such as the weather. I think having a strategy that doesn’t rely too heavily on your abilities makes a lot of sense here, and gives your connection to the NPCs its time to shine. What use you do get from your abilties is well focused, and the general construction work is in depth and cogent. You get an **8!**

  20. Building! As stated in the match information, there were a few factors in regards to how well players did: in order of importance being craftsmanship quality, amount of work done, and overall efficiency. This one will be a bit shorter than usual given the circumstances, but let's take a look at Moonbeam Rider’s Strat!
  21.
  22. The general workflow of the strategy is great [Planning/Logistics/Layout] - beginning with introducing the NPCs (Ajay is stuck in my mind now, I am sorry) and then ensuring a set of workplace rules to ensure the safety of the crew. This comes with some equipment, such as the Tool Box-sta to enable Titan to ferry tools and snacks across the worksite, as well as any umbrellas created for shade.
  23.
  24. Next is the first building segment (the process being split into two over the day with a union-backed break in between), where they cut the majority of the wood needed at once by lining up multiple pieces (using pasta cutting jigs and Mohammed’s craftsman’s eye) and cutting with a blade of light - this is later repeated for the drywall, while more specific cuts of wood are handled by Mohammed. They then move onto assembling the frames and the roof, using Cal’s Big Big Friend to lift it into place (and using both pasta and bismuth to guide it) so it can be secured with the assistance of pasta scaffolding before Cal is laid to rest and the exterior walls are installed as well as working on doors and setting up the work for after the break.
  25.
  26. I will talk about the break after I go through the second half of the work - the welding work begins, both Stands work on attaching the vapor barrier with Shaan and Arnav going over to secure it, before the two get onto a pasta platform around the house to work on the roof’s barrier, and then the metal sheets. And finally, the Insulation and drywall (once more using either Cal’s light blade or Mohammed’s precision to cut the drywall as needed) before the wooden sidings are cut and installed - and then they tidy up and make sure anything that remains to be done. As for the Narrative segments, I thought they were really fun! Both good at making the construction crew feeling alive and part of the city, but also serve to help either via the mandated break letting the crew be rested and fed for the second part, or the final part being to cap off the whole process and prepare anything for tomorrow’s shift. Overall a great strategy and fun to read - I’m giving this a **9** as I have been impressed not just by the life given to the characters and the flavour of the strat, but also the use of your Stands at every corner to help in regards to the efficiency and safety of each task.
