  1. Ralton Vs Coco
  2.
  3. Ralton response 1:
  4.
  5. *Sasaki bad, cant do anything to Raltons team.
  6.
  7. * Heat good, none of Crab's characters have heat resist
  8.
  9. * Radioactive man has radiation, no one has radiation resist
  10.
  11. * Radioactive/Skrull man has good physicals
  12.
  13. Decent first response by Ralton. Clean formatting and concise win cons are always a good thing. Actually having a 2v3 is a great advantage. Sasaki might not be useless depending on how crab portrays him.

  16.
  17. Coco Response 1
  18.
  19. * Sasaki not bad due to Volland Power
  20.
  21. * Piercing > Ralton's team
  22.
  23. *Luffy/Zoro have heat resist
  24.
  25. *Luffy/Zoro have good physicals
  26.
  27. * Skrull only scales to old FF, and new FF are stronger. I.E old thing is not equal to new thing
  28.
  29. * One of the Radioactive men doesnt exist.
  30.
  31. * Radioactive man has bad heat, radiation, and physicals. On top of that he gets hit by swords and his beams are slow
  32.
  33. Also some good formatting and concise win cons from Coco, he brings up several major points like the realness of one of the Radioactive men, and Skrull only scaling to the old FF, while simultaneously rebutting that Sasaki is in fact not useless and one shots his opponents whole team. Luffy and Zoro's heat resist is a good rebuttal as well.
  34.

  36.
  37. Ralton Response 2
  38.
  39. * Radioactive man is cut proof, and can repel metal
  40.
  41. * Skrull is cut proof and has thing powers which also make him cut proof
  42.
  43. * Volund power is fake, and sasaki has no strength anyways
  44.
  45. * Zoro cant cut Skrull.
  46.
  47. * Sasaki's thousand image defense takes too long, wont be able to pick up on alien traits, and cant predict esoterics
  48.
  49. * Kizaru sucks and he floors luffy with one hit
  50.
  51. * Enel's lightning isn't hot so luffy doesnt have great heat resist
  52.
  53. * Skrull and Radioactive man have good heat, way better than luffy and zoro's resist
  54.
  55. * Luffy's attacks require wind up, and an abundance of space
  56.
  57. * Zoro dura/heat resist is bad
  58.
  59. * Skrull actually does scale to modern thing, and scales to people who scale to thing.
  60.
  61. *Radioactive man has good heat, enough to melt swords.
  62.
  63. * Radioactive man can tag very fast opponents with blasts and has an AoE.
  64.
  65. All in all this was a good response, Ralton fired back at almost every claim coco made, and re-enforced his already existing win cons of Radiation, Heat, and Physicals. The heat from both Radioactive mand and Skrull being able to melt swords before they come into contact with them is a huge blow for Coco's team who mainly rely on swords.
  66.
  67. ****
  68. Coco response 2
  69.
  70. *Volund is a process that makes weapons divine, divinity imbues strength. if it can turn Fabric into a building buster, why not a sword?
  71.
  72. * Sasaki taking a long time against Poseidon isnt bad, because Poseidon is faster than Sasaki while the tourney is speed equal.
  73.
  74. * Sasaki analyses breathing and blinking, both things that Skrull and Radioactive man do. I.E Thousand image defense will work
  75.
  76. * Luffy and Zoro engage the opponent for enough time, so that Sasaki can get his Thousand image defense off.
  77.
  78. * Sasaki has enough strength to cut a man in half if he wanted too.
  79.
  80. * Luffy doesnt actually need wind up or a lot of space to attack .
  81.
  82. * Gear 2 is a speed boost, and also amps strength. Gear 3 amps strength much higher, but requires time to get off.
  83.
  84. * Kizaru doesnt suck, and luffy takes multiple hits from him
  85.
  86. * Heat is Heat, Luffy can just tank it and beat Ralton's team up anyways.
  87.
  88. * All of Johnny's linked feats are un-quantifiable, and being hurt by an unconscious Johnny is bad.
  89.
  90. * Super Skrull's piercing resist is still bad, and Tigra is bad at piercing and untrustworthy.
  91.
  92. * Zoro is durable enough to take hits from someone who matches him in strength, and has good heat resist.
  93.
  94. * Guidebook statements are nonsense and as such Skrull is not equal to Thing.
  95.
  96. * Thing was weak in the moongirl comic era.
  97.
  98. * Early Thing was harmed by bullets, meaning Skrull who scales to Early thing would be easy to pierce.
  99.
  100. * Ralton hasn't replied to one of the Radioactive men being fake.
  101.
  102. * Radioactive man cannot take sword blows on the level of Zoro or Sasaki, and Radioactive man will be hit by swords.
  103.
  104. * Radioactive man doesnt always use heat in combat, see Giant man or Namor.
  105.
  106. * Radioactive man only tries to melt swords after they hit him.
  107.
  108. * Radiation bad.
  109.
  110. * The speed of the blasts is still questionable seeing as they only knocked out an offguard nova.
  111.
  112. * Namor scaling is inconsistant, She-Hulk is explicitly weaker than Thing.
  113.
  114. *****
  115.
  116. For Fairness sake im going to ignore the 3rd response. Tagging me on Discord to ask when the round ends, then posting a 20K character response containing an OOT request 12 minutes before the deadline is so unsportsmanlike that it requires this response to be ignored. This is horrible terrible no good debating, which really sours this match as both competitors showed market improvements in not only formatting, but in prep, and argument quality.
  117.
  118. That being said Coconut crab has taken this match by a hair. He convinced me not only that one of the Radioactive men was fake, that Volund power can imbue items with considerable strength, but also that Radioactivity is a lackluster esoteric. This on top of the great stats from Luffy and Zoro, and the piercing of Zoro and Sasaki, that in my opinion Ralton's team has no counter for, easily take this match.
