  1. Āıden Aberdene : A cabin nestled comfortably within the Autumn woods. Sure it was cliche, and sure Aiden hadn't really taken the time to read what he was getting into. But it was there, and with some help from hired hands secretly contacted. It was stocked with wood, snacks, and coffee. However what it lacked was of course easy contact with the outside world, and of course the magic of wifi. But that was ok, any time spent away from the world would be good time. Of course the truth was it was less for him and more for Margot who was still recovering from her lifestyle of drink first and vomit questions later. More than that, Aiden wanted the opportunity to perhaps just be with her. There was always something going on within the world they lived in. His business, her stocks, dealing with this or that. It made their time together enjoyable, but it seemed like nothing had moved forward. If we were being honest, and Aiden was always honest with himself and it seemed Margot. He was beginning to -c-

  3. Āıden Aberdene : take the idea of her being his Mortal far and beyond the simple fact that he felt responsible for her. It was deeper than merely wanting to protect her. It was a type of relationship that he was unused too. She texted, and no matter what he was doing, time of day, or work related. She was priority one. Sofia had expressed constant annoyance at his being in his phone when they'd skype for business, or how it seemed those little inside jokes had him acting much akin to a mortal man having found himself the 'one'. Still, Aiden was old, and much jaded from many of his past relationships. (Many of them ending because he would not embrace or expose himself as a vampire to them) Thus he continued to act so abhorrently ignorant to the blossoming of what was no longer just Margot, or Aiden but well Margot and Aiden. Eva would no doubt jest with him at some point about how it was nice to see him smiling, or laughing again. Even now, as he drove in his Navigator with her seated -c-

  5. Āıden Aberdene : beside him. It had taken quite a bit of coaxing for her to be convinced to wear a blindfold. (Which resulted in none at all, considering she secretly knew what was up) But he did wonder from time to time as he glanced over to look at her, his willowy mortal. If she could feel the affectionate way he looked upon her. Or how the delight in her laughter when he showed up to her home wearing the god awful sweater she'd picked out for him seemed to brighten his night. So now, there he was, A Vampire, and undead, with a mortal woman he could not live without. Listening to Elvis Presley, the Inkspots, The Cordettes and all other manner of music from one of his favorite eras to have lived through. On their way, to what to Aiden's nieve self convincing was a get away, meant to help her find peace and comfort with the change in her life she had taken, and while it may not have been entirely so. It was a change he realized she had made for him. Because he had asked her to. Aiden, was -c-

  7. Āıden Aberdene : as many a singer and songwriter had said in his lifetime. Falling head over heels, and like the fool he was, denying it wholeheartedly. Despite all evidence, actions, and moments in time pointing to the contrary. -end-

  17. Mєяlγη : .: It was supposed to be a routine visit to Fabienne's childhood home, just a quick pop over there from Alucard's home and then they would be back. However, like all easy and simple things, it was not at all routine or easy to pop over to Fabi's home and back, in fact the moment the seraph even got close to the house her and Fabienne would both be sent away in a violent fashion. There was a brief look of absolute confusion and fear upon the rebelled seraph's face. Malcolm warded his house? Why? Fortunately, Fabienne was currently inside of the messenger bag that Muriel was wearing on her person. So this rough landing, would only cause the seraph discomfort. Also, as another turn of fortune, Merlyn regained control, at least enough not to cause any damage to where ever it was she landed. The sound of unseen fluttering wings echoed through the dark woods, the tall, androgynous form of the rebelled angel slid along the dirt road. Those normally unseen wings became visible, all six<C>

  21. Margot : ••• Nestled in the passenger seat of the obnoxiously large, all-wheel drive tank that Aiden referred to as a ‘car’, the clairvoyant felt dramatically small. Despite having her vision inked out by a blindfold at the vampire’s insistence, she seemed relatively content. Why wouldn’t she be? She was a human burrito, wrapped in a cashmere blanket three times too big for a full-sized bed, on her way toward some remote “unknown” destination. Aiden had planned a small retreat of sorts (some might have thought of it as rehab) and despite her precognition, Margot played along as if she had no clue what was about to happen. She didn’t have the heart to ruin his efforts in surprising her. Truthfully, she knew what the outside of the building looked like-- a cabin tucked into remote woods. She knew there was a fireplace, and that they were about three hours away from Portree, an hour behind with the time-zone shift. But other than that, her fleeting visions gave away little else. So she was-c

  23. Margot : still in for a few surprises. More than anything, she was content to be cared after. Somewhere between familial affection and toeing the line of primal desire; Aiden had convinced Margot to back off on drinking, vice-versa, her presence had seemed to put his self-proclaimed ‘playboy’ days to an end. And yet the bloodlust deviant and recovering alcoholic had yet to share a single kiss. (To be fair, Margot had done an awful lot of vomiting up until this point.) With seemingly no trouble, Aiden navigated through the snowy tundra that slithered across partially cleared roads. Reaching over to blindly retrieve the cup of coffee from the center console, Margot cradled the warm cup between withy hands. Over the scent of sweet, herbal confectionery Lush products tucked into her travel bag, his scent punctuated the air. Cold, wet stone and fresh -c

  25. Margot : mountain air were alluring, even if it was freezing outside. The earthy, sweet smell of pine melted with a ferric tang. Though she didn’t exactly realize it, the scent was a subtle cue to a recent feeding. She’d have been lying if she said she hadn’t dreamt of those full lips skimming the outskirts of her throat, drawn up into that perfect smile with sickeningly charming dimples. Luckily, nobody asked. Aiden was the kind of guy who knew he was attractive, which lent itself to his (previous) lecherous behavior. He could have what he wanted, when he wanted it, and it wasn’t only his vampiric nature that contributed. Aiden had been abnormally attractive before his death, too. Comparatively, Margot had been excessively chaste. Not for reasons regarding her looks (rest assured, those were squarely in the ‘comely’ category,) but for those pertaining directly to her ability to foretell the details of each potential relationship. It was a solid turn-off to know ahead of time that things-c

  27. Mєяlγη : .: of them spreading out to slow her down. She was on her feet, but barely, the bag held to her chest. Purple eyes glinting slightly, she looked down at the shallow crater trail that she'd made. Her eyes squinted and she tilted her head. What just happened? Never mind that, they had a mild hiccup. Well, she could always apparate Fabienne there, with the issue of having to have Fabi meet her somewhere far away from the warded house. The seraph shook her head at that, nope not happening. The wings became incorporeal again and she relaxed her form before opening the bag and peering into that flightless time-ship. //Fabienne something went wrong.// The seraph spoke into the bag and then set it on the floor so the half gallifreyan could make her way out of it.
  28.
  29. Margot : wouldn’t pan out— for one reason or another. Given the vacillating nature of their relationship, one might have expected far more intimacy than was presently imbued between them. They were out of town together, with no other company. She’d often spent the night (daytime hours, actually) sleeping beside him. They spent time on independent tasks while sharing space in the same room-- him restoring a painting while she read a book. And of course, any spare moment they had while apart was spent sending an obnoxious amount of texts. Of course, something altogether more subtle than an ‘friends-with-benefits’ status was burgeoning. It was on a near-microscopic level that the pair were inherently drawn to one another. Half biological inclination, the other half owned by her foresight. It wouldn’t have mattered if they tried to resist the magnetic pull they had on one another, they were innately and irrevocably bound together by something outside of their own cognitive understanding. -c

  31. Margot : Drawing the coffee cup up to sip from it (bless his dead little heart, Aiden knew she needed it,) she mused quietly in the seat beside him as the sound of the Chordettes bubbled out of the speakers with old-timey vim. “Are we there yet?” she asked with a humored tenor, wiggling her way down into the nest he’d created for her in the passenger seat. •••

  35. Mєяlγη : .: there were stairs inside that lid up to the opening of the bag. One sniff of the air, and she knew where she was. Converse clad feet-paws hitting solid ground and she spoke "Merlyn? Why are we in Scotland?" she asked the tall angel. To which Merlyn would say //Your lovely uncle warded the house to keep me out.// That was a lovely relationship right there, Fabi sighed. Mal and Lyn didn't care for each other at all, and it wasn't because he wasn't human. "Okay, so where do we go now?" she asked, picking up the bag //I sense people in both directions..// A little bit of silence and then. //There is more people in that direction, but there is something over there too. We'd have to walk, i don't want to chance that mishap again.// "Anywhere we could get food?" The half gallifreyan tilted her head to the side, staring up at Merlyn. //Pick a direction.// Fabi thought about it and then sighed. "Probably the place with more people right?" It was obvious that her 'mother.' wasn't amused.

  39. Āıden Aberdene : A truth, not often Admitted, but Aiden had always been somewhat of a slut. As a youth it was not uncommon for him to be chased out of town, homes, and other varied places after having robbed the virginity of fair maidens. Actually, if she could see his past instead of his future. She may not have been so interested in him. Truthfully, Aiden had horrible luck trying to find someone to spend his eternity with. (with the exception of Sofia who was more or less his eternal secretary, minus the shades of grey. ) It was often a fact that vampires who did not lose their humanity often held to the sins and vices of their mortal days. For instance, a murderer embraced, often continued to murder his prey. A man versed in the sins of the flesh, continued to enjoy the lust that came with copulation. Aiden's vice had been less Lust and more about the thrill of the hunt. When he was young, he rarely cared if he didn't consummate, it was more getting them to that point of heavy breathing,-c-

(Which had resulted in a rather cross Brujah having her way with him anyway) Even as he aged, he found some compelling in the act of hunting down woman merely for their blood and to prove he could. Margot, was mysteriously immune to his charms. OF course it wasn't as if he actually used any of the potent abilities, or classic Aberdene charm that he and Eva were most known for throughout their lives. In fact, if he'd done anything it was a bit of awe to focus her when she was drunk, and a lot of tenderness. Something he was not known for. Oh how he could hear Eva chortling in her chamber as she watched him and Margot. He'd have been embarrassed if something about the whole nature of their relationship didn't make him feel entirely alive, and warm. Even feeding had become somewhat distasteful. Before, it was easy to find some lustful college girl. Now it was! from a god damned bag. Type O, and warmed through a process that he didn't care to expand -c-

  51. Āıden Aberdene : upon even in his thoughts. " Almost " he said cheerfully as the final chorus of Don McLean's American pie came to an end. " I guess it's been long enough " he said finally taking his hand from the wheel to gently brush across her cheek, with intent of course to remove the blindfold, which fell to her shoulders after a deft tug. Her surprise, came into view, and as he hoped they'd tended to the fireplace, and the soft glow of warm welcoming flames could be seen in the windows, that cosey trail of smoke wafting into the air from a cabin ripped straight from one of those old tales of the wild west. Where in a wood burning stove was heat, and aside from the modern touch of running water, electricity, created an image of tranquility not oft' seen within the confines of a city. " It's ours for a couple days. " He glanced to the side to look at her before he continued " I thought you'd like some time away from the chaos of the world " -end-

  53. Margot : ••• Without any kind of over-animated response, Margot blinked her eyes open as the blindfold rippled over her nose and drooped onto her shoulders. His hand left a cold trail down her cheek, burning afterward in the darkness of the Navigator cabin. The curly mass of her hair, newly released from the confines of the blindfold, sprung back up to its usual, pert and unruly fluff. Her expression softened for less than a second, betraying her internal monologue before she turned her chin over a shoulder and quirked a brow at him. “Is this the part where you get bitey on me?” she asked with a hint of sarcasm. She wouldn’t readily admit that she was excited to hear -anything- be referred to as ‘ours’, but in the secret little nooks and crannies of her heart, she was. Maintaining an outward demeanor of collected and somewhat dazed from a previous lifestyle of drink-like-It’s-water was not difficult for her-- she’d had to present a front from the time she began having her visions. Since -c

  55. Margot : her libations had turned virgin, her visions had become increasingly rare (and so had the tossing of her cookies.) The occasional vision plagued her dreams, causing nausea as the juxtaposition of reality and foresight was apt to do, but she could chalk that up as ‘withdrawal’ symptoms, and Aiden was none the wiser. He would be, after their time in the woods, though. Without really giving it much thought, the seer realized that the investments he was making toward her health meant it was time. Feeling a bit leery about being vulnerable, Margot had stalled the inevitable telling longer than she’d intended. She trusted him (at least, she trusted the lifetime of fleeting imagery of him that she’d come to know before they’d even set eyes on one another) but the small handful of experiences she’d had in sharing her oddity had never been well received. 57. Margot : fact, she’d never managed to tell her parents because each time she’d considered it, she’d see the eventual attempts at having her committed to the psych ward play out in her dreams. Margot was thankful for their solitude, and by proxy, Aiden for finding it. That didn’t really stop her sarcastic front from rolling in, to which she drew in a thoughtful breath and bit her lower lip. “I’m sorry, that’s…insensitive.” she followed up after a long pause. “Thank you.” she added afterward, not used to being tended to so gently. She was thankful, after all, that Aiden had provided her a place to detox, out from under anyone elses’ prying eyes. Her features melted into genuine gratitude, one thin hand reaching out to clasp over the back of his. Squeezing gently, she tipped her head toward the cabin, eyes losing focus for a moment. Glancing past Aiden, through the driver-side window, Margot’s brows knitted. “What is…” she murmured softly, hesitating as the distant glimmer of white wings-c

  61. Mєяlγη : .: There wasn't any time to argue with Fabienne about which direction to go in, and as a seraph, she was going to take the lead on this one. //I think we should go towards the direction that feels the most populated.// At first she hadn't realized that they'd been spotted, the grace flashed in her eyes when she sensed there were other's near by. It wasn't that she was overly protective, but it was usually the seraph's first reaction. Her focus was broken by Fabienne's movements, the girl was picking up her fallen feathers and sticking the discarded deep purple things into the bag that she carried. //What are you doing that for?// A little head tilt, purple eyes studying the half-gallifreyan girl a moment before looking up and trying to find who she was sensing, that had apparently spotted her. It didn't take her long to find the moving vehicle and in that moment she was suddenly reminded of the Chevelle that was still parked outside of Alucard and Liz's home. | "I am collecting <C

Her 4'10 frame was probably easily obscured by what was around them, not to mention the dark color of her .. fur. She looked like a creature on the outside, but it was only on the outside. Her twin hearts started to beat a little faster in her chest once she realized that Merlyn was looking around. "What's wrong?" she asked. Fabi could be a bit slow at times, she hadn't realized where they were yet. She knew it was Scotland, but she didn't know where exactly. Fabienne had a friend that lives here, a little cat girl, though she could not be sure if the cat-girl would remember her. She was in a different incarnation now, and the last time they'd seen each other, Fabi looked completely different. "Merlyn, I need to find out exactly where we are." The odd little creature said. Deep maroon eyes looking around, deep maroon eyes that reflected the moonlight in points of red. <C>
