- In case anyone wants to follow my path for Leon A run (spoilers of course):
- Tips: Shoot zombies in the face once with a handgun to stun them and run past. If it's a zombie you'll probably pass frequently, try taking out a leg so it's crawling instead. Use your map a lot. Pause as often as needed to stop the timer. Feel free to grab items not included, but be mindful of space...you'll have time to backtrack to the box if absolutely necessary. I forgot where all the pouches are but you should come across all but the last one in the lab this way.
- * Get through gas station - shoot zombie in head to stun him, grab the key, then loop back around to open the door. Follow the path to the right as quickly as possible to avoid altercations with any of the zombies.
- * Weave through the zombies after the cutscene and just book it to RCPD as fast as you can
- * Go down first set of stairs, grab the first aid spray on right, then go to open the shutter and duck under it
- * Go to the press room, grab handgun ammo off corpse, run back out to hall.
- * Head to bathroom, grab first aid spray from middle cubicle, go down to the Watchman's room and trigger the cutscene
- * Go back to the main hall up the stairs to lion statue: Lion, Leaf, Eagle; put the metal in the slot
- * Go down stairs, grab handgun ammo from beside typewriter, drop first aid sprays
- * Open west reception area, grab ammo, go through the door and trigger the cutscene
- * Head to operation room, grab the map off the whiteboard, jump through the window, head to West office
- * Grab handgun ammo and gunpowder, open Leon's desk (L: NED, R: MRG), open safe in room (L9, R15, L7)
- * Exit back through the door you came in, go down the corridor towards the safe room. Grab the board and herb, board up the window
- * Go to the safe room, grab gunpowder from locker and handgun bullets, drop off what you don't need
- * Go to 2F, open locker (CAP), grab shotgun shells and portable safe -> open for spare key
- * Go to 3F, grab handgun ammo at top, open locker (DCM), pick up spade key
- * Continue through area, go down the corridor, enter Storage Room
- * Grab things you feel you need, head to the Library
- * Go down the stairs and turn right, grab the book, and go ahead and move the shelves that you can to make your life easier later (shelf on right one space to left, move shelf second from left one space to the right). I knocked off the zombies' legs in here for later, but do what you feel is best
- * Use Spade Key to go back to Main Hall
- * There's handgun ammo on the right if you need it. Head back down to Marvin. Store spare key and whatever else you don't need (shotgun ammo, mag bullets, etc.)
- * Go upstairs to East Wing Waiting Area, open safe (L6, R2, L11) for Muzzle Break, grab green herb, open door with Spade Key
- * Head to the Art Room, combine book + arm, place back on statue, get red jewel. Grab Weapons Locker Key on the way out.
- * Go left until the chopper crashes, grab the green herb if you want, go down fire escape
- * Grab the bolt cutters, head to the East Office, grab the Round Handle from the smaller office, get the electrical part near the exit. Move the chair from the door and go out. (there's other things here too if you feel you need them...gunpowder, flashbang, green herb, I think?)
- * Use electrical box to open the shutter, drop the red jewel in the storage in the main hall, but make sure you have the Round Handle, Bolt Cutters, and Weapons Locker Keycard
- * Use the Spade Key to get into the West Office and throw the key out
- * Go through the office to the Safety Deposit Room, use the Key Card for the Shotgun
- * Go back to the Dark Room for your shotgun ammo, then to 2F to use Round Handle in the showers
- * Kill the Licker in the hallway ahead, enter the S.T.A.R.S. office. There's first aid spray, handgun bullets, and gunpowder, but you mostly need the Battery
- * Head back to the hall to the Lounge with the Unicorn statue: Fish, Scorpion, Aquarius, then grab the map and go through Library to Main Hall to drop off the metal.
- * Go back through the Reception area to the Operations Room. Use the bolt cutters on the door. Pick up the Electronic Gadget and combine with the Battery. Unlock door on the East side and head past Dark Room to 3F
- * Use the detonator and move the bookshelf now. Go to the Maiden statue: Woman, Bow, Snake
- * Book it out through the door where the bookshelf was through the Library to the Main Hall and head down to the Parking Area
- * Follow the walkway, beat Birkin's ass, go up the ladder, head right and get the green herb and gunpowder from the locker
- * Turn around, go the other way up the stairs, flip the switch and cross the platform
- * Head to typewriter room, grab hip pouch, go up the ladder. Trigger the cutscene and then follow Ada.
- * Grab the map from the room on the left and handgun ammo if needed. Go through the cell door and head to the end. Trigger the cutscene, grab the tool, and go back to the garage and into the Kennels. Kill the dogs in the cage here if you want to avoid some later.
- * Go to the Morgue, open the 2nd from last table on the left, grab they key, gtfo
- * Turn right, open the shutter, head to the Generator Room
- * Grab the box off table (Electronic Parts), go down to the switch puzzle, flip the two on the right up and go back the way you came
- * Go through the Kennels to the Firing Rage, get the box for the Electronic Key, use the Diamond Key, grab the herb inside if needed
- * Go back to the parking garage
- * Use the car key to get the Matilda stock, go back towards Firing Range but pass it and use door on left. Head down the hall, go back up the stairs...look familiar?
- * Go to the safe room and grab whatever you need, get the Electrical Part from the back room...make sure you have this, the Tool, the Electronics Part, and Diamond Key with you and leave
- * Go outside through the door on the left and head up the Fire Escape. Go to the end of the hall and open the shutter. Toss the Tool
- * Go up the stairs and grab stuff from the lockers if needed, then go to the Storage Room for the Large Gear. Head back onto the balcony and trigger the cutscene with the ladder
- * Go down the stairs, pull the lever on the left, go into the shack where the zombies busted out of, and grab the Club Key
- * Go back up, put out the fire, head through the new door, run into Mr. X, double back by the chopper to juke him and head back to the Fire Escape and down past the Watchman's Room through the East Office to the Main Room
- * Head to West Reception Room, sneak down the hall to the Records Room (or kill the Lickers, you do you)
- * Grab the thing for the jack in the library, gtfo by running through the Operations Room and jump through the window
- * Head up past the Dark Room to 2F and through the Shower Room to the Laundry Room. Toss out the Diamond Key, grab the Portable Safe (Spare Key), and go through the Lounge to the Library. Use the Jack, fix the shelves, go up the ladder
- * Go to the Clock Tower, use the Large Gear on the first floor, take it back, go up to the third floor, grab the Small Gear, put in the Large Gear, then to go the middle level and use the Small Gear
- * Grab the box (Electronics Parts), leave, and run all the way to the end of the hall (not the way you came) to unlock the East Storage Room. Head through, go down the stairs to the bottom, and use the Club Key on the Interrogation Room. Drop the key, grab the Blue Box off the table
- * Go back up the stairs through the West Waiting room and then to the Main Hall. Get the Jewel out of the box to combine with the Blue Box to make the S.T.A.R.S. badge.
- * Grab all the Spare Keys, head through the West Office to the Safety Deposit Room. Open 102, 103, 109, 203, 208 and collect what you need
- * Go out past the Dark Room to the stairs, go to the S.T.A.R.S. office on 2F, use the badge to get the Lightning Hawk and take the badge back with you
- * Go back out and through the Library to the Main Hall
- * Go through the East Side shutter through the East Office, then the Watchman's Room. Make sure you have the Electronic Parts before you pass the safe room. Go down the stairs, through the garage, back to the prison, and solve the puzzle.
- * Grab the Garage Key Card and First Aid Spray from the sink
- * Run away, don't get killed, use the Keycard to escape
- * Follow Ada through Kendo's shop, grab the long barrel for the Shotgun
- * Keep going to the sewers and along the path, fight the alligator, etc.
- * As Ada, go to the ladder to get the EMF reader and use it to the right of the ladder on the power box and then on the fan. Go up, look down and right for another power box at the end of the tunnel, then use it on the fan
- * Jump down, immediately get the power box to the right of the fan, and exit the room
- * Head straight, then down the stairs. Cut left, then right, and right again past the elevator. Keep heading straight but keep left of the shipping container
- * Stick to the left and run past the zombie who falls out of the sky until you hit the railing. There's a power box to the right.
- * Turn back around and take the elevator up
- * Run run run, follow to the door at the end, aim to the right for a power box, and then pull the switch
- * In the next room, turn around and power up the box (I think to the right if you're facing the door you came from?)
- * Break the fan and jump through
- * Go up the stairs, flip the switch to open the incinerator, go inside for the bracelet
- * Trigger cutscene. There's a box behind you on the left bottom corner, then use the box over the exit. There's another box on the left in the middle, then power the box over the exit. There's a final box on the right in the middle, then power the box over the exit.
- * Escape through security door, follow the path, trigger cutscene.
- * Go to the elevator and head up, then down the stairs, and drop into the sewer
- * Follow the waterway and take a right at the end, then head down the right opening and climb out on the right
- * Head up the stairs, turn right, then head right and take the stairs down into the lower waterway
- * Grab the knife if you don't have any self defense items on you, drop down, head to the right, and slide down the slope
- * Follow the waterway until you run into one of the dickhead poison monsters, kill it or w/e (dodging is easier if you head at them, then rear back, and cut to their left)
- * Climb up on the left, follow the passageway to the left and up the stairs, go up the ladder
- * Open locker (SZF), drop down the shaft, manage your box so you have 6 empty slots
- * Go out the door by the fire extinguisher, pull the lever, cross the walkway, go right for the safe (L2, R12, L8)
- * Go back towards the cable car, get the Tool, go through the door back by the safe
- * Go down the stairs and open the shutter on the left
- * Follow the walkway, grab the key off the wall, and drop down into the sewer
- * Good luck getting past all the poison assholes
- * In the plug room, turn left at the bottom of the stairs, grab the Queen. Use it on the box around the corner on the left. Head up the stairs, go through the door, grab the King, and drop down.
- * Head back through the door, put in the King, get the Flamethrower. Open the door. Go back to get the King, then get the Queen.
- * Put the Queen in the original spot, go through, put the King in the box on th left
- * Grab the queen, go back to get the King, then exit by taking the left path through the sewer
- * Go up the ladder, then right, and pull the switch
- * Drop down, go through the new sewer opening, and climb up on the right after the poison asshole comes out of the pipe
- * Grab the blue herb (if needed), use the Tool, go up the elevator
- * Get the pouch and ammo, move open the door, grab the Rook, go down the walkway to the right and down the stairs
- * Keep going, drop in the sewers, go left, and then go right towards the steel bars. Climb up to the left at the end, use the tool
- * Go through the door, down the stairs, and go back to where you pulled the switch and to the safe room to use the plugs
- * Left wall: Bishop, rook, knight; Right wall: Pawn, Queen, King
- * Go down, when you get to the switches, flip them all up except the second from the right, then kill Birkin and proceed to the cable car
- * Drop whatever you don't need in the box in Reception, head into the Security Room for a map and shogun shells. Head to the cafeteria and up the ladder. Drop into the Kitchen, go out to the right, grab the Flamethrower Regulator, Electronic Chip, and some Shotgun Shells
- * Go back to reception, open the walkway to the left
- * Go through the east door and go left and enter the door where the plant guys are and to the next room with the keypads. Using each key as 1-9 with 0 at the bottom, put in 3123, then 2067
- * Grab the vial, go into the Greenhouse and then the Drug Testing lab. Put the vial in, hit Red, Green, Blue; Red, Green, Blue; Red, Green
- * Go back into the Greenhouse and go left and drop into the hatch. Turn right for a map, go back the other way through the door to the Lounge
- * Head West to the end of the corridor, go through the door on the west side and up the stairs. Get the Signal Modulator on the left (I think there's ammo in a locker too)
- * Go back to the Lounge (I think Lickers spawn now), use the Signal Modulator
- * Go to the low temp lab to make the herbicide. Head back to the control room, but detour to Server Room if you need a box and some bonus goodies.
- * Put in the vial, kill the plant, go get the chip, don't get slapped around by Mr. X
- * Head back to the central area, open the walkway...it's all pretty linear from here. Prepare to fight Birkin, grab the items in the room after you defeat him, run through the area after the self destruct system is activated, and then beat up Mr. X for good
