  1. So, there's been a conflict in this wiki recently. You might have heard of it. You might have even been part of it. What is it? I call it the Marrowfrost Situation. Basically, I'm bringing this up again not to start more drama, but to try to stop this kind of crap from continuing to happen. Yeah, you could argue I'm not the best person to talk about this because I was partially involved in it and didn't react perfectly myself, but the conclusion is that this kind of thing is going to happen if we focus on blaming others instead of chilling out and think logically.
  2.
  3. I'm here to explain the Marrowfrost Situation, what exactly happened, and what's the aftermath of it, and why this kind of thing is actually stupid and should be easily avoidable.
  4.
  5. Let's get into the beginning.
  6.
  7. So, basically, Marrowfrost and certain FANDOM Users (Basically ppl without accounts), have been more or less warring on each other on comments on certain comment sections of articles in several instances such as [https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Queen_Glory/@comment-43521886-20190905115502/@comment-213.127.49.51-20190908163726 this], [https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Qibli/@comment-213.127.49.51-20190908171111/@comment-213.127.49.51-20190909184633 this], and [https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Moonwatcher/@comment-213.127.49.51-20190909181817/@comment-180.150.38.104-20190910084131 this.] I suppose you could argue that Marrowfrost didn't react perfectly, but the situation has escalated to the point where she is being borderline harassed, and this crap needs to stop overall.
  8.
  9. Want to know what I'm talking about by harassment? I have a suspicion that 180.150.38 is an alt account of another person using a different IP address. The reason I say that is because if you look at his/her's contributions, the first thing they did was make a critical comment toward Marrowfrost. I found four accounts hating on Marrowfrost in a similar manner, and I have come to the conclusion that 180 is using a different IP address to harass Marrowseer, even if two of those IP addresses might not be the latter. Even if my theory isn't true, let's see what those four users did individually:
  10.
  11. https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/180.150.37.117
  12.
  13. 180.150.37.17 attacked Marrowfrost by claiming that she's harassing other users on the article Moonwatcher and Queen Glory.
  14.
  15. https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/180.150.38.104
  16.
  17. 180.150.38.104 attacked Marrowfrost on three different articles, criticizing Marrowfrost in a very similar manner to the previous user. Could they be the same person?

  20.
  21. Look for yourself what 168.8.212.20 did, but the result is clear - Marrowfrost is getting attacked by FANDOM Users for stupid and pointless reasons, when the conflict should've been resolved a few days ago.
  22.
  23. https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/213.127.49.51
  24.
  25. At this point, you probably get it. I'm just adding these for references at this point.
  26. ----
  27. Ok, I gave a ton of examples here but I didn't really explain how it all started. Let me get this all cleared up.
  28. Basically, it started with 213.127.49.51 saying that he didn't like Qibli because he "stole" Moonwatcher from Winter. Marrowfrost replied with saying that didn't make sense because Winter never even went out with Moon, much less owned her, not to mention the fact you can't "own" another person.
  29.
  30. And what does that little 8 year old do? He tells Marrowfrost to "shut up", saying he can't tell him what to think, which is just plain rude. However, the problem started when Marrowfrost took his bait, replying to him in a way which wasn't mature and respectful himself:
  31.
  32. "Hmm, you're so mature, aren't you? Qibli and Winter both liked Moon, but Moon never liked Winter in that way. Therefore, he never stole her. That's just stupid to believe that you can steal a person over love, let alone a ''crush''.
  33.
  34. I hope you enjoy your anticipated ban for swearing and being a donkey towards me and other users :)"
  35.
  36. The problem only escalated when 213 said he didn't like Moonwatcher respectfully this time, but Marrowfrost continued to attack him:
  37.
  38. "And yet [https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/213.127.49.51 213.127.49.51] decides to be a hypocrite, when they are hating me and others for having opinions too. Honestly judging from your latest contributions, it's probably because Moonbli happened, Qibli "stole" Moon from Winter, etc. I wouldn't be surprised."
  39.
  40. That's when the problem really began. Another user called out Marrow for "jumping in and attacking people for no reason", which isn't true, but yes, Marrowfrost could've reacted in a smarter way. Think it ended there? 213 also replied, saying "he couldn't wait to get rid of her".
  41.
  42. 180 didn't stop there. There were several more instances of him calling out Marrowfrost at random for attacking 213 "without reason". Eventually, Marrow just reported him, and he got banned. Problem solved, right?
  43.
  44. Haha, no.
  45.
  46. Other users got involved in the situation as well. It's hard to keep track of it at this point, but some users went on 180's message wall and basically harassed him as well, saying he was a jerk, mean to Marrowfrost, etc. Marrowfrost had backlash as well, one random user just going on his message wall to call him s**t and another user going on 180's message wall to call out Marrowfrost for calling out 213 in a random comment out of nowhere because of a completely unrelated issue he had with him.
  47.
  48. 213 also got backlash as well, one user basically hating on him in a message. Some users reported to Ubi and requested him to ban other users for completely biased reasons.
  49.
  50. Even to this day, all this conflict still goes on just because of one DAMN comment.
  51.
  52. How did this all happen? It should be pretty obvious. Immaturity.
  53.
  54. However, none of this would have happened if Marrowfrost reacted a bit nicer and saw that fandom users was a 8 year old and a moron. What he should've done was just report it to Ubi, no more said. If the user continued, he would've gotten banned and there wouldn't be any more problems. However, it's arguable that some users would've still continued to create conflict by harassing him in the message wall.
  55.
  56. Conclusion to this?
  57.
  58. People, react more wisely when dealing with Fandom users who obviously are impertient and lack common sense that some more respectful users have.
  59.
  60. Also, once a conflict is over, don't continue to attack people. You're not going to accomplish anything and all you're going to do is add more fuel to the fire. This conflict is pretty much the definition of the snowball effect, when something small gets bigger and bigger.
  61.
  62. The good news?
  63.
  64. Marrowfrost will likely be coming back to this wiki. I've had a talk with her and she's confirmed she will probably be more active later after a break.
  65.
  66. That's pretty much all I have to say about this drama.
  67.
  68. Thanks for reading and thanks for listening.
