saboom's back! (I let him out of his cellar)

He's here to show the world he's the fastest at Spyro the Dragon 120%. Gotta poke the big bear and awaken his slumber. That's dayo. If you know saboom, surely I don't need to introduce you to dayoman!

The world record currently stands at 1:20:41 by dayoman. saboom's PB is about 1:20:56. Close ..yet far!

Much love to the community! Speedrunning as a whole, and of course specifically, to we Spyro lovers!

"I believe in God." is a statement that I can voice pretty unwaveringly and confidently, anymore. (So the age-old question WHAT HAPPENED TO SABOOM, I think is most easily answered by "He found God." However, I don't think things are that simple, ever. I think actions speak louder than words, with such a claim! Belief in God, to me, would be faith/certainty coming from my mind and being, as opposed to anxiety/doubt/worry! Of course, everyone, will exhibit actions based in both FEAR, and LOVE, at different moments, you know?


Feelin' like shouting out some of my sources of inspiration for speedrunning lately, without thinking about it too, too much.

@SIMPLY, quite a legendary runner and personality. Carried a lot of light on his back for speedrunning in general (though I should be careful not to synonymize SM64 for speedrunning!)
@DAYOMAN, quite honestly could say the exact same thing as I just wrote for Simply. Dayo has been going HAM and has single-handedly brought SO much light to Spyro the Dragon. Bending over backwards making content endlessly. The man probably DREAMS about our little purple dragon. THANK you, from my heart! Really building this community.
@ANNE_CHOVY, I've had a lot of fun watching the FISHY streams! Thanks for continuing to supply the internet with Spyro speedruns. GET THAT WHIRR

There is about 12-24s "available" in all homeworlds. There is nearly 50s "available" in DW. (That would be a flawless DW; so, realistically, a good run could save 20+ or w/e in DW. u feel me? Gotta dream big though- get that 50)
