My stream is committed to showcasing and experiencing games on the Nintendo Entertainment System in different and sometimes unique ways. My long-term goal is to play most of the NES library on stream, focusing mainly on the most popular games. Rather than merely beating a title my goal is to contribute to the game in some significant manner, such as a tutorial, new strategy, deathless run, world record, or a competitive speedrun. This year alone I have obtained 5 world records on stream and am presently working on another. Often times I explore the game's memory or TAS the game to discover new death warps or find RNG manipulation, which I have done with Journey to Silius and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Generally, I want to breathe new life into these games and make them come alive again for my viewers.

The appeal of my stream is focusing on the retro community, which is why I utilize a retro-themed layout and have adopted Captain N: The Game Master as the overall theme. My emote, information section, profile image, and banner all capture the nostalgia of this NES related cartoon. Additionally, my new sub badges are going to be a grey NES cart that transitions to a gold cart! And should I be made partner I will continue this theme with new emotes and custom bit badges.

Another feature of my stream that has helped generate bit revenue are custom bit alerts. For fixed value cheers the viewer can contribute to the channel and see an 80's movie clip that is relevant to the stream.  This bit menu continues to grow as I create new content for the stream.

I will also be streaming 11pm – 7am EST on most days this Summer, which I believe is a block of time in much need of retro gaming.

I personally pride myself on making the viewer feel welcomed and appreciated. I am extremely active with chat and always willing to stop what I am doing for a question about an NES game they are interested in and will often bring the game up to show them a thing or two. I like to be a source of technical knowledge and keep conversations both educational and informative.

My stream, to put it simply, is dedicated to the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among speedrunners. In fact, one of the features of my stream is to give shoutouts to all who host/auto-host my stream. I firmly believe in cross-promotion and mutual support which will only benefit all involved in the long run.

During the month of June, I have received a huge wave of support from the retro speedrunning community, in response to the years of contributions that I have personally made to this community. In fact, becoming partner is about this sub-community that has rallied behind me just as much as it is about the content. The relational connections that occur on my stream continue to help me become a better person and has helped others feel that they belong as well.
