      Pokemon Soul Silver - Any% Glitchless FAQ

Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?
A: No, I'm playing on a DS (phat) with a capture board installed from http://3dscapture.com/ds/ or ill play on a new3DSXL using software purchased from https://www.merki.net

Q: Why are you resetting? You haven't even left your house!
A: Now that I'm using RNG manipulation to get a good Cyndaquil, I need to start the game at a specific time. My Trainer ID tells me whether I've timed it correctly (Correct Seed) - if the ID isn't 17998, I reset.

Q: What is RNG Manipulation?
A: RNG manipulation is used in this speedrun, which involves resetting on a specific second starting from a specific time, and hitting the correct frame for the correct seed after resetting. This allows me to get a Cyndaquil with almost perfect stats. I can also manipulate zero encounters up the the old man running shoes guide and beyond if I do my movement correctly.

Q: Is there a guide on how you use this manip?

Q: Who is found out all the RNG Manip?

Q: Why do you play as the girl?
A: The counterpart does the catching tutorial, and the male does it faster, so it’s faster to choose the female for yourself

Q: Why do you choose Cyndaquil?
A: Because I prefer Cyndaquil and it is the fastest,  The
cyndaquils stats/ivs are 22/22/8/30/16/24 & a Mild nature

Q: How did u get the masterball from the lottery?
A: I used RNG Manipulation to get me the ID required for it

Q: How did you get/catch raikou?

Q: Whats raikous stats?
A: Raikou's stats/ivs are : Rash 19/24/29/26/22/27/ HP 66 Ground

Q: Why Raikou? I thought that was for glitched, and why not typhlosion or Mewtwo?
A: Raikou is used for glitched (Any%) runs but now its also used for glitchless runs as for mewtwo and typhlosion I will not be using them.

Q: What is the current World Record?

Q: Why SoulSilver over HeartGold?
A: Either game can be chosen. But soul silver you get an extra rare candy & I dont have to waste time getting tentacool for waterfall as lugia learns it

Q: Why do you name yourself and Cyndaquil one character?
A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes.

Q: Are there glitches in this run?
A: There are glitches in this game, but this is a glitchless run.

Q: What other pokemon do you catch/use?
A: Sentret I catch for cut/surf, Lugia is caught and used for waterfall/whirlpool, Spearow is given to you & used for Fly

Q: Isn't this a luck based run?
A: Yes, there is luck involved. But not all of it is luck movement and menuing buying items ect need to be done quickly

Q: What is a "spinner"?
A: A spinner is a trainer that randomly looks in each direction.  These spinning trainers cost precious time on account of extra time battling.

Q: Do you use flow timer or eon timer?
A: No i use the livesplit, game audio and my eyes, I feel I dont need other programs
