-A: No, I play on a 3DS using software purchased from 3dscapture.com

+A: Now that I'm using RNG manipulation to get a good Cyndaquil, I need to start the game at a specific time. My Trainer ID tells me whether I've timed it correctly (Correct Seed) - if the ID isn't 17998, I reset.

-A: Yes. Yes I do. Otherwise I will not challenge my World Record.
+A: RNG manipulation is used in this speedrun, which involves resetting on a specific second starting from a specific time, and hitting the correct frame for the correct seed after resetting. This allows me to get a Cyndaquil with almost perfect stats. I can also manipulate zero encounters up the the old man running shoes guide and beyond if I do my movement correctly.
 
-Q: But don’t you use Totodile in Gold?

-A: Yes, but in the remakes Cyndaquil is better. The main two reasons for this are that Sprout Tower is forced, and fighting a lot of Bellsprouts puts it in a better position, and that the TMs at Goldenrod are changed, and you get Fire Blast there before the 3rd badge.

-A: If it looks like there is no reason, it's generally because my stats were bad. I need to have great IVs in attack and special attack otherwise I can not complete the run fast enough

-A: I check my stats as soon as I can, because it takes to long to wait until I level up. At level 5 I will reset unless my attack is 11, my special attack is 12, and my speed is 11 (or more)

-A: Tough question, the fastest time is 4:01 by eekcast but it was done on emulator. The fastest time done on console was 4:10 by me (4:14:36 real time) Emulator plays faster than console (by a varying amount, no direct comparison can be made) so hopefully one of of can just get sub 4 on console so this isn't a touchy issue.

 Q: Why Raikou? I thought that was for glitched, and why not typhlosion or Mewtwo?
 A: Raikou is used for glitched (Any%) runs but now its also used for glitchless runs as for mewtwo and typhlosion I will not be using them.

 A: Yes, there is luck involved. But not all of it is luck movement and menuing buying items ect need to be done quickly
 
 Q: What is a "spinner"?
 A: A spinner is a trainer that randomly looks in each direction.  These spinning trainers cost precious time on account of extra time battling.
 
 Q: Do you use flow timer or eon timer?
 A: No i use the livesplit, game audio and my eyes, I feel I dont need other programs
