+——born to a sweet family, hyejin grew up knowing nothing about magic due to the fact that her parents didn't want their children to accidentally blurt anything out. she thought that she was "normal". even when her brother received a strange letter and disappeared off to a strange school for the year, hyejin didn't think much of it. 9 nine year old hyejin just thought that he'd been accepted into some incredibly talented school as her brother had intelligence that could rival hermione's. as a child, hyejin would much rather read about the world than going outside and experiencing it for herself so moving from korea to london at 10 years old didn't affect her as much as her parents thought. she never knew the reason behind the move but her parents moved so her brother can go to hogwarts easier as well as hyejin in the future
 ——the first christmas spent in london was terrible to say the least. hyejin saw death take her cousin away right before her eyes. seeing her extended family was always a pleasure so when her cousin, older by a few years lead all the kids to play outside, hyejin followed happily. her cousin didn't look before crossing the road and a car that didn't notice a kid on the road, hit him straight on. hyejin didn't know what to do so she cried as the adults rushed over in panic. christmas that year wasn't festive at all.

+——when hyejin received a strange letter herself half a year later, her mother was overjoyed that both her children had magical blood. when her mother told her about the magical world of witches and wizards, hyejin became super excited to learn more about this world that weren't in the books. come september 1st and she set off for her first year hand in hand with her brother, eyes shining with fascination. hopping off the hogwarts express, she was surprised when she came face to face to a thestral. she had asked her brother what the weird horses pulling the carriages were but sungbin, who had stayed at hogwarts that one christmas, had no idea what she was on about and before he could ask, she was already moving towards the crowd of 1st years ready to ride the boats.

 ——realizing that everything in the magical world was way better experienced by herself, hyejin gave up reading about the world and asked many questions with that airy way of hers. the twinkle in her eyes never dulling. hyejin never seems to run out of energy and is very talkative, even though she mostly talks about how to approach a blast ended skrewt or the likes of that. extremely loyal and kind, hyejin quickly became a favorite around the students and professors as she'd do practically anything they ask of. though she has no idea how to sugar coat her words and is very straightforward, many people find themselves enjoying the company of the unique girl. some even find the airy way she talks relaxing. very naive, hyejin tends to believe everything she hears. unless she knows the actual truth of course. many people like her but hyejin is often found wandering around the castle herself, finding the portraits much more interesting than others. she sometimes thinks that the sorting hat put her in gryffindor so she could talk to the fat lady more.
 ——her personality changes drastically when in danger. her airy tone and way of speaking disappears and instead is replaced by a strong, commanding tone. not wanting anyone else to have their life taken away, she tends to throw herself at the hazard instead. using all the prior knowledge she has, hyejin will defend everyone to the best of her ability. hyejin can't help but think that if she had told her cousin to look around before crossing, he'd be alive. so hyejin will make sure it doesn't happen again. as she only comes back to earth from the clouds during life-threatening times, this side is very rare. perhaps the sorting had saw this side and put her into gryffindor.

 ——the portraits and house elves banded together and decided that hyejin needed to get recognized more throughout the magic schools for everything she's done for them. deciding that the tournament was a good option, they got peeves to help out and because he has a soft spot for hyejin, he agreed and dropped her name in the goblet.

 ——a troublemaker. that's park jimin in one word. has no care in world except to make sure he gets out of dirty situations cleanly. at first glance, his sweet face and personality fools people and they often wonder why he's in slytherin. they realize soon though, his sweet smile replaced by a cunning smirk and his caring personality replaced with a personality that could be best friends with draco malfoy. he has a crowd of followers, most of them people who want to suck up to the park family. many ladies fall for his charming smile and jimin finds amusement in playing around with them. he gets them to do his homework for him as well as take his notes. if they disagree, a smirk finds it's way onto his face and he'll threaten to break up with them and that usually does the trick. if it doesn't, he's going to make their life a living hell.

 ——when the three schools came together, just before the tournament officially starts. as soon as jimin arrived, he heard students whispering about how hogwarts' airy fairy got spat out of the cup and is competing. wanting to see why she was called airy fairy, jimin charmed information out of the students. learning that she was called cha hyejin and that she was probably talking to some portraits at this time, he thanked them with a beautiful smile and went around the school looking out for a girl talking to portraits. he claimed to be exploring the castle whenever anyone asked. he spotted a girl sporting red robes speaking to a portrait of a fat lady and he was so sure that it was this "airy fairy" that he ran up yelling that nickname. the student span around with an unamused expression, stating that she was just trying to get into the gryffindor common room and she wasn't hyejin. pouting, he apologized and went back to wandering. just as he was going to give up, peeves came and dumped water on his "perfectly styled hair he spent ages on". hyejin came running behind peeves, giggling at first but then she realized that they've just dumped water on a guest. gasping as peeves ran away, hyejin apologized and ended up blabbering on about peeves and his pranks while jimin was fuming. he ended up stomping away after 2 minutes. hyejin snapped back to reality and dashed to her dorm real quick and chucked a towel over jimin's head as soon as she saw him again. she then dashed away right after, scared that he was going to blow up at her.
 
 ➸ | HIS FIRST IMPRESSION:
 ——annoyed and angry was an understatement. jimin was furious. how dare this "airy fairy"? he did not have a good impression on hyejin obviously. taking part somewhat in chucking water over his perfectly gelled hair was somewhat tolerable but going on about a poltergeist? his father was going to hear about this.
 ➸ | HER FIRST IMPRESSION:
 ——hyejin's first instinct was to laugh of course, everyone that attends hogwarts knows about peeves and his pranks but when she saw his different robes, hyejin froze. this wasn't a hogwarts student. flustered, hyejin had no idea what to do and just started blabbering to this pissed student. when he stomped away, she freaked out. judging by his green-ish robes, he was a slytherin and pissing a slytherin off possibly mean't a hellish school life afterwards. scared of him, she hurried to get a towel, wanting to get on his good side.

 ——beginning;
 》jimin was hostile towards hyejin. he glared at her whenever they made eye contact and tried to avoid her at all costs. it was as if he saw her as a bad luck charm. jimin really didn't want to see her again but when his friends told him to try get with the "airy fairy", jimin, who doesn't want to be humiliated, accepts the challenge.

 》forcing himself to be chummy with hyejin proved to be a challenge. she was welcoming but forcing himself to listen to her talk about unicorns all day was mentally tiring. somewhere down the line of trying to get her to fall for him, jimin found her to be very charming and he found himself enjoying talking about random things with the girl. jimin became the soft puppy he was, he laughed and innocently joked around with hyejin, something he couldn't do around his crowd of followers.

 》his agreement with his friends somehow got spread around the school which obviously meant that hyejin heard about it. jimin acted like it didn't bother him at all but really, he was missing the happy laughs he had with the weird gryffindor. seeing hyejin wandering the castle by chance one evening, jimin chased after her. of course it's the wrong person in front of the fat lady again and a strong sense of deja vu consumed jimin. after getting information from the fat lady that she'll probably be stuffing cake in her face in the kitchens, jimin then threw away his pride and went after hyejin. after trying to get on hyejin's good side for a good hour, hyejin gave him a second chance and jimin pulled her into a huge bear hug with the house elves cheering in the background. afterwards, jimin was the sweetest to hyejin. of course, he's still the famously known park jimin to others. just sweeter and not as much of a snake as before

 》no matter how much jimin tried to avoid her, hyejin kept appearing in front of him creepily with the purest intentions. she was really sorry for what peeves had done and wanted to officially apologize and if there was anything she could do to make up for it- but jimin would be long gone by then. she knew she acted like a pest (the portraits kept telling her that) but he was a guest and she didn't want to ruin hogwarts' reputation.

 》park jimin suddenly being friendly with her was a huge shock. hyejin didn't complain though, she thought that he had forgiven her and wanted to be her friend. hyejin did notice how beautiful and innocent he looked while he laughed and she absolutely adores his eye smile. saying that her heart didn't beat faster would be a lie. hyejin would introduce him to all the portraits and animals around the castle, happily welcoming him into her world

 》knowing that she was being played, she felt betrayed as anyone would in her situation. hyejin blamed herself for being such a "dumb blonde" but hid it all under her usual airy personality. she would tell the portraits about it but the portraits wouldn't keep their mouths shut an blabbered to each other. letting out her disappointment in the kitchen every other evening would be usual. but of course when jimin burst in and hyejin asked how he knew, hyejin should've known that that knight blabbered to the fat lady. the feeling of deja vu washed on hyejin at that point and thus she pretended to not forgive him for a hour before giving in. hyejin didn't regret it at all. she returned to her normal self and dragged jimin around with her. sharing more about herself and learning more about him.
