Introducing one of the biggest features that has been requested for Music for the End of the World...
1+
MUSIC FOR THE END OF THE WORLD: 2.0

RADIO AT THE END OF THE WORLD
3+
RADIO.
4-
This adds an entirely new module and feature to the mod that has been highly requested. Radio at the End of the World introduces 10* radio stations to the game, accessed by standard radio items. Any radio item tuned to the right frequency will play music from a selection designed for that station.
4+
MIXES.
5
SPECIAL ZOMBIES.
6-
These songs are completely synced in both time and track across all players on a server.

AND MORE.

8-
This comes with an entirely new page of sandbox options, allowing you to customize the following:
8+
- Implemented Radio at the End of the World, an entirely new system built into the side of MFTEOTW. Up to 11 hosts, depending on the packs you have installed and which ones you have enabled, will serve you almost all of the music from the mod... as well as tons of unique dialogue. These hosts and the music they play is completely customizable, and this feature is totally compatible with multiplayer. This system uses the vanilla radios to play music when tuned to specific frequencies, and it is even compatible with Keep That Radio On, meaning you can listen to music with the radio on your belt!
9-
- Whether or not this feature is enabled at all
9+
10-
- What frequency each radio station broadcasts over
10+
- Implemented Albums and Mixes: A new system that allows modders to create items that can play multiple song files in sequence. That's right: Albums, without any extra file size. In MFTEOTW, this system is used to provide Artist Mixes--music items that will play every song from an artist.
11-
- Whether or not the stations have hosts that will speak between each song in standard PZ lore fashion. Hosts can be individually enabled or disabled.
11+
12-
- Whether the hosts have significant airtime to tell stories/do bits/whatever, on a host-by-host basis
12+
- Extended the Loot System: MFTEOTW's loot system is now completely compatible with 99% of all other True Music mods. It assigns a display category to Cassettes and Vinyls, and then removes all of those items from the drop table, instead adding them to MFTEOTW's own drop tables. This will not work with mods that add new drop locations onto the vanilla True Music ones, but the worst that will happen is that you'll see more/only tracks from such mods in their added containers.
13-
- Whether radios play songs in a sequential repeating order, or if they play in random order (with no repeats until the list loops)
13+
14-
- Whether radios include songs from the Extended, Silent Hill or Home Labelled packs. The Silent Hill pack adds a new host, as does the Home Labelled pack, whereas the Extended songs are mixed into the other host's tracklists.
14+
The above three features were almost entirely coded by the incredibly talented and endlessly helpful Albion, with myself doing the grunt work of integrating these new systems into MFTEOTW and writing for the hosts.
15
16-
This also comes with a global chat command allowing you to skip a song on a particular frequency, or on all frequencies.
16+
- Implemented Special Guests: A new feature introducing 20 unique new zombies. These zombies require a constellation of specific cosmetic mods to appear, listed in this collection, but each one carries a personal playlist of 10 cassettes as well as a full outfit of interesting clothes and even some unique recolors of modded items.
17
18-
Each of these ten radio stations is hosted by a different character, all written by me! Depending on your settings, they can be completely disabled so that the stations are music only, they can have fairly long radio lore segments, or they can simply serve to bridge the gap between one song and another with a couple sentences.
18+
- Replaced Silent Hill track 'World of Madness' with 'Pianissimo (Epilogue).
19
- Replaced Silent Hill track 'Cradel of Forest' with 'The Day of Night'.
20-
Some of the lore messages also carry some genuinely useful advice for new players; I'm a bit of a PZ veteran, so within the limitations of speaking in-universe, there might be some actually useful info in there!
20+
- Vanilla survivor/raider/punk zombies can now drop cassettes, even without Zed Drops on. If you have Undead Survivor enabled, all zombies besides Amazona zombies will also drop 5-6 cassettes on death. Both of these can be enabled or disabled under MFTEOTW: Zombies.
21
- Fixed some sandbox translation file errors.
