 BACKGROUND
 Minseo grew up in London, UK with her parents Maddox Kang and Kang Hari. In school, she showed a lot of interest in  gymnastics and acting and so she joined the drama club and her local gymnastics team. She excelled in both activities. She and her gymnastics team entered into a national and regional competitions. She won a lot of these competitions quickly worked her way to being one of the best junior gymnasts in the country. When she turned 19, she had a sudden change of heart though. She gained a sudden interest in music. She started getting singing lessons and rap lessons from a private music teacher. After a year of lessons, she decided she would audition for YG Entertainment as it was one of the most successful entertainments. The audition was a success and she got into the company. However, 2 years later, she left the company due to the poor treatment of her health and safety from the CEO and the staff.
