The Manastream: The Manastream is used to describe two different things throughout the realm. Often times, the word is used to describe the vast network of planes connected to one another through the mysterious pillar of magical energy. These planes sometimes interact, bringing up inexplicable changes or happenings through the world of Erilen, and in many cases, changing the state of the land or influencing the culture of its people.

20 years before the start, the Manastream had simply stopped. The pillar disappeared, leaving a gaping sinkhole where it once shot out from. Shortly after the manastream had died, the world began to wither. The first victims were the Fey, who slowly died out due to the lack of mana within their area.

The Manastream: The Manastream is a pillar of magical energy spraying out from the center of the southern ice cap. This geyser of mystical energy is said to provide all the mana and force necessary to nurture life on Erilen. The very Gods themselves are said to tap into it as a resource; so that they may shape and create to their pleasing.

Souls: Souls: Souls are the 'core' of individuals. Within this core, one can find mana, which is the life source of everything. Wizards tap into their mana reserves to cast magic. Souls are required for life, without a soul, that being simply ceases to exist. It's 'erased' from existence, so to speak.

Planes: Realms, layers, dimensions. Many names are used to describe the hundreds of thousands of planes that are found throughout the multiverse. Each plane is unique and works in its own way, some uninhabitable, some brimming with life, and others being home to bizarre, alien creatures. Some planes are connected directly to Erilen through the Lifestream, which allows for easier access through the use of portals or Planeswalking.
