Very long ago, when the gods walked amongst man, Alron was worshiped with his twin sister, Tarnathwen, and shared the portfolio of beauty, arts, and love. However, when Rhysvial lost his way, he kidnapped Alron, subjecting him to torture so appalling that his mind warped and twisted into a completely different being.

Depiction: A giant man with tight-fitting leather that exposes his bleeding wounds. Hooked chains and small cages dangle from the exposed ribs, with his innards removed to reveal an empty cavity. He wears a bloodied blindfold, and is often depicted with his weapon, Deathbringer.

Craftsman of the Gods: Aletrod is essentially an excellent mason. He helped plan out the complex creation of multiple realms. Notably, he's helped in the creation of: The Gardens of Heaven, Deuvenesse, and the prison dimension that contain the sealed evils of Erilen.

Eagle Love: Aletrod's worshipers hold hawks, eagles, and griffons in the highest regard.

Ruler of Gehenna: The Valley of Gehenna was ruled by Alron shortly after his fall from grace. When Belial had seen his crimes, he felt that the young god deserved to be punished. Representing the pantheon, Aletrod struck a deal to exile Alron to the plane of Gehenna instead of confine him to hell, banning his access from Erilen for as long as the sun hung in the sky.

Rath: Aletrod's rivalry with Rath is legendary. To Rath, Aletrod seems like an angry, sullen and deadbeat man that doesn't understand freedom. To Aletrod, Rath seems like a brazen and flighty young man that doesn't even deserve the title of godhood.

Tarnathwen(Sister): The conflict between Tarnathwen and Alron is outright legendary. The two are locked in constant strife, which is shown both through their clergy and themselves.

Saris: Aletrod's son, created between the affair with a mortal wife. Saris is the demigod of wealth, and acts as the Gatekeeper to what is known simply as The Trove; a repository of perfect replicas of every single thing that the world of Erilen has seen. Aletrod and Saris share a typical father-son relationship, and naturally, get along quite well when not butting heads.

Sylvannas(Mother): Though not nearly as intense as the rivalry he has with his sister, Alron and Sylvannas clash quite often.

Rhysvial: Alron has a very special hate for Rhysvial. Despite being changed into the hideous god he is now, Alron still has fond memories of the tortures he's endured, wishes to one day release The Worldbreaker from his prison so that he may enact vengeance.

Aletrod is a bit of a crusader god. His worshipers strive to bring law and order among the world, acting as what can be described as the world police. Aletrod's clergy is always calm and neutral in their actions, only ever putting their hand down if they or the law are jeopardized in some way.

Worshipers of Alron pride themselves in their ability to both inflict and withstand massive amounts of pain. While their clergy is often stereotyped to be full of sadistic savages, the Alroan faith is typically organized in a clearly defined hierarchy, based upon the physical power, endurance, and ability to endure pain.

Temples of Aletrod are designed to all function independently from one another, usually servicing a single region. The clergy almost always works closely alongside the local government, but are forbidden to conflict with them. As such, they stand as a neutral faction during legitimate conflicts.

There is no centralized Alroan church. Instead, worshipers and clergies can be found throughout the world in small sects or shrines, or as individual people. A common stereotype that sprung from Almura is for a noble house to secretly host dark rituals, kidnapping peasants or civilians for their perverse needs.

Axioms of Law: Usually bearing elaborate decorations, writing, and bindings, the holy text of Aletrod often contains advice on founding and running communities, building and construction, and the dogma for the worshipers.

Taxes are very important to the Aletran faith; they believe that it's an integral part of maintaining a proper city. As a result, their church hosts an open feast on the day taxes are collected.

Torment's Embrace: A faithful Alroan worshiper is selected and pampered for three days. They are given whatever they please, and on the final day, after having all limbs and non-vital organs removed, are appointed as the faith's 'Embraced'; a seer and torture toy for the rest of their life.

Seers are taken to torture rooms, where they make predictions and omens from the screaming of kidnapped victims.
