+   Although he may come across as a typical small, cute omega with an adorable smile, that all changes as soon as Hyunsik opens his mouth. He's quick-witted and sharp-tongued, with a short temper and pride to match. He makes no effort to keep his thoughts to himself, always speaking up whenever he doesn't agree with something, and won't hesitate to let you know what he thinks no matter the situation. He often speaks without thinking, letting his temper and emotions get the best of him, and can be quite easy to rile up and get angry because he doesn't take well to being looked down upon or underestimated. This can be an advantage for Hyunsik though, because he can be fierce and courageous if he wants to be and doesn't care about facing off to someone who could kick his ass any day. He isn't easily intimidated by anyone, no matter their position, physical traits, or social class.
   A person ruled by emotions, Hyunsik loses people easily and has a hard time gaining them. He's quick to get angry and start fights, but will rarely push down his pride and apologize; he takes a long time to trust others, especially alphas due to his past, but once he does trust you he can be a bit overbearing.      Growing up in a family of alphas was tough on Hyunsik from a young age - coupled with the fact that both his mother and father were expecting a daughter, it made his childhood almost insufferable. His father, ever the asshole, had taken to calling him "Hyunmi" from his early adolescence, despite his avid hatred for the name, and soon after the kids in his school classes had picked it up. His family had no problem with it, as he had two other brothers who had both been alphas and thought they were tough shit just because they weren't the target of their fathers bullying. He spent most of his early teens in shame, ducking his head at the slightest mention of his omega status and turning deaf ears on his family's constant disappointment in him, until his uncle moved home to Icheon when he was fifteen. It'd been years since Hyunsik had seen the older man, his father's brother, who had moved to Seoul when he was young for a job offer, and when he returned he was different from before. He was still an ass, just like Hyunsik's father, but much crueler, even going as far as to lay a hand on the boy a few times. Nothing serious, just arm yanking and swatting him in the face a few times, but there was one incident that had changed Hyunsik's output on life completely.
     When Hyunsik was fifteen, he was approached by a few alpha boys in his class during their lunch time, all big and intimidating to the young boy who still hadn't hit his growth spurt. They'd spouted cruel words at him that he'd just sat and taken, things about how omega males were pretty much useless, what purpose did they serve, and that even an omega girl was favored over them. It was nothing Hyunsik hadn't heard before, so he kept quiet and continued eating until one of them yanked his hair, forcing his head back and the food to fall from his mouth, the other boy hitting him straight across the face like he was allowed to do so on school property. The male had gotten angry, talking about disrespect and how he should /fucking look at him/ before the others had joined in, all trying to pull and hit at the omega because their friend was doing so.

+    A teacher had broken it up before it got serious, reprimanding the boys but letting them go because it hadn't been too serious, but Hyunsik had still returned in tears that afternoon, not expecting both his father and uncle to be home early when he opened the door with teary eyes. When they'd asked why he was crying with disgusted expressions, he'd explained in a shaky voice as he took his shoes off by the front door. His uncle had scoffed, shoving away from their dining table and approaching the teen with a twisted look on his face. "That's all? Men in this family don't cry, bitchy omega or not," and had grabbed Hyunsik by the hair in the exact way the boy had, taking him to the living room to show him a lesson. His mother had returned from shopping early enough to save them from permanently damaging him, the young male only having a split lip and bruised body as she screamed and screamed and screamed at them for being so careless "not where the school can see it, idiots!" and Hyunsik knew just how twisted his family was. He was more angry than he had ever been in his entire life over the fact that his own mother would encourage the treatment of omegas (her own son!) and prayed from that day on that he'd never let anyone treat him or any other omega like that ever again.
     He auditioned after that at age sixteen, not having a ton of talent but wanting out of his home as soon as possible. He practiced rapping as much as he could beforehand, improving and getting as confident in his wobbly skills before auditioning, and the company must of seen promise in his skills, for he got accepted and away from his toxic family as soon as he was allowed in the trainee dorms.
