 ㅡ growing up in a district with the highest population density in seoul was harsh because the more people there are, the more dangerous it can get. and it's even harsher when you are growing up without a father who would look after you and your mother. seorin knows it all. she knows what a struggle it is to provide money as a single mother in hopes to keep a roof above your and your daughter's head, even if it a tiny two room apartement. since she started attending elementary school, seorin realized how difficult it had to be for her mother and so she decided that from then she will do whatever she has to to help. the girl never asked anything for her birthday since she was seven, she never cried because she didn't have a birthday party. she never complained about not being able to go play with other kids and having to clean the apartment and prepare dinner while her mom was working overtime. it was the opposite actually. she was always glad to help. at the age of fourteen she found her first part-time job and was very happy about it. she didn't even care that she had to travel to the other side of the city, because that restaurant was the only place where they accepted a fourteen years old girl. she just wanted to bring some income into the household as well. but then they fired her once she was caught stealing some food from the kitchen, they didn't care that it was just a small piece of bread nor they showed any sympathy when she said that her mother got seriously sick and couldn't work which leaded to an empty fridge and even emptier stomach. since then she was walking through the streets of seoul and asking for a job. she wasn't really successful and her expressions got more and more blank, just like her heart turned more and more cold due to the disappointment in humanity. that is until she heard about bangtan villa.

+ㅡ shin seorin is kind of an enigma to be honest. when she was young she was a happy and very cheerful kid, at that time no body noticed her though. she always appreciated everything no matter if it was the sunlight or rain or food or books, she was grateful to be able to experience thing like that. like every little girl, she dreamt of her prince charming and a castle made of glass. that was until she found out what kind of person her father and her old boss are. she realized that on the earth there hardly are any princes charming who would help you out of the biggest troubles or who would built the most beauitful castle just for her. somewhere deep down, her childlish side is still surviving though. someone just needs to bring that up.
 ㅡ the time where she was asking for a job and help taught her a lot. she put a wall around herself, refusing to let anyone in. she smiles a lot less and talks even less. her answers are mostly short and emotionless. she realized that she can't rely on anyone but herself and that she has to work harder than ever before to keep her mother safe and sound. seorin doesn't mind the calluses on her hands from hard work, she always decides to ignore how stiff her whole body is or how much her neck hurts. she doesn't complain. all she cares about is her mother. nothing more, nothing less.
