- or go back to the newest paste.
1 | - | There are two kinds of Orcs. The kind that fled Falkreg, and the kind that live there. |
1 | + | Dwarves come in several variants. |
2 | ||
3 | - | The ones that fled their home country are mostly sell swords and mercenaries. As time passed by, some small tribes actually formed throughout Erilen. These small hordes are what give the Orcs the stereotype of being a group of pillaging, ugly brutes. |
3 | + | First, let's talk about the Deep Dwarves. |
4 | ||
5 | - | The ones living in Falkreg are at constant war. They form their own tribes and nations lead by one War chief, and are separated from other tribes in the way that they each seek to prove that their war chief is the Messiah of Orc Kind. The Messiah is said to be the son of the Orcish god, and that he will one day unite all of Orc kind together to create the perfect nation. Orcs often change their belief in who the messiah is many times in their life, as when their war chief dies, it proves them wrong, and causes their tribe to wander off in search of a new chief. |
5 | + | Deep Dwarves are easily the most powerful and well known of the three Dwarven races, and are the majority found throughout Kalimourne. The Deep Dwarves, true to their name, live in vast underground networks that double as both gigantic mines and sprawling cities. Cold and brusque, the Deep Dwarves are hard to connect with from outside races, but are nevertheless jovial party lovers once you break past their hard exterior. |
6 | ||
7 | - | Orcs are tall and muscular folk, each standing between 6-7 feet tall. Orcs are stereotyped as being pig faced brutes, with ugly faces or scars, ragged ears, and two tusks that protrude from the sides of their thick lips. Their skin tone varies quite a lot, but the most common hues are shades of oranges and reds. Green skinned orcs are exclusively shaman. |
7 | + | Deep Dwarves take great pride in their hair, often keeping it well groomed and decorated with braids and beads. The men always grow their beards out for this reason; a beardless man in Deep Dwarf society is considered a sign of madness, and are generally killed out of paranoia. |
8 | ||
9 | - | Some Orcs are blessed with a significantly larger amount of muscle and prowess. These Orcs are called Rams, and can reach staggering heights of up to 8 feet. Rams are far more capable than their smaller relatives, and often times serve as the messiah and war chief of Orcish tribes. |
9 | + | Next is the Desert Dwarves. |
10 | ||
11 | - | Orcs from Falkreg believe in Bah'Quell, the ascended Orcish god of war. |
11 | + | The Desert Dwarves are found throughout Malibor and actually have their own separate kingdom that they consider separate from the Malibourne government. Desert Dwarves are explorers at heart, and make their homes by renovating various lost ruins found deep beneath the shifting sands of Malibor. Every day, the Desert Dwarves continue tunneling and adding to their gigantic network in hopes of finding more ruins to add onto their ever-expanding domain. |
12 | ||
13 | Desert Dwarves are big on trade, and will attempt to do anything to make a quick buck.
14 | ||
15 | Next up we have the Zimian Dwarves.
16 | ||
17 | - | Age: Typically 60 or so years. 80 max if they don't die before that. |
17 | + | Wood Dwarves are the only kind of Dwarf you can find naturally living above the surface. They also happen to be the only race that doesn't see as much value in their hair, and as such will sometimes outright shave themselves bald. Zimian Dwarves live in large wood homes and are known to be the only race of Dwarf that are capable of producing Druids, who often act as priests or important figures of their society. Natural warmongers, the Wood Dwarves are notorious for pillaging just about anything nearby. |
18 | ||
19 | - | Religious Views: As stated before, most Orcs venerate Bah'Quell. |
19 | + | |
20 | ||
21 | - | Why you left Falkreg: Orcs leave Falkreg pretty often, and are seen as refugees by other Orcs loyal to their country. |
21 | + | Religious views: Dwarves have their own patron gods. Ask DM For details before you decide on religion. |
22 | ||

35 | Magic(If any): | |
36 | - | Orc Sorcerers are considered a sacrilege in Orc society. All sorcerers, orc or not, are immediately hunted down and killed on sight. Orc sorcerers are easily spotted, as magic performed by Orcs generally affect bodily appearance. The term 'black handed' refers to when someone is caught directly conducting a crime, and references how Orcs often end up with black hands from conducting dangerous sorcery. |
36 | + | |
37 | Full on Dwarven sorcerers are very uncommon. Deep Dwarven sorcerers generally use their magic solely for the purpose of maintaining their technology.
38 | - | Orc Druids are always green skinned, and are often quite powerful. Druids of Orc society are revered by their tribe, and a small council of them generally acts as the main advisers to the war chief himself. |
38 | + | |
39 | Dwarven Druids are strictly a Wood dwarf thing. |
