These concoctions contained the raw magical essence of different spells, and he eventually started making a small fortune through selling these special potions to others on the daily. | |

Thus, he began forming an actual syndicate as he hired several kidnappers, willing magi, and alchemists to manage his business. These kidnappers would specialize in stealing mages away, forcing them to cast spells so that he could liquefy their essence and separate them into unique beakers. The alchemists he hired would do most of the dirty work after he stored the basic spells together; mixing and combining different formulas to experiment with outcomes. | |

Osmund was eventually met by Ulrich in the prison.
