+1 Seolhyun joined SM Entertainment to become a dance and vocal coach, however the other trainees encouraged her to become an idol as she had the talent and the look. She made the decision to leave as she just felt like it wasn't the right place for her but still kept in touch with some of the trainees and idols.
 2 She has been dancing since she was 6 years old and she was a competitive dancer up until she was 19. She won many awards over the course of her whole dance career but ultimately knew that she wanted to move on to new things.
 3 She toured around with world renowned Chinese but American based dance company for three years. The company was called Shen Yun and after seeing her in a few competitions, they decided they wanted to scout her for the tour. Her time there was amazing and she made some life-long friends, and although it was very demanding and the training was hard and exhausting, she change it for the world. She got to visit so many countries because of the tour.
 4 She would sometimes post dance covers and her own original choreographies to her YouTube channel amassing millions of views and this is how SM found her. Actually a few companies reached out to her but she opted for SM as a lot of her favourite artists were from there.
