- What version do you play on?
Xbox 360 with game installed to HDD, because the load times aren't as awful.

- What does "No MSG" mean?
MSG stands for Mission Select Glitch, which is a sequence break that warps you to the credits, skipping the vast majority of the stages with Silver's Story being under 12 minutes. The "No MSG" category bans this glitch and this glitch only so that we actually get to play all of the stages.

- What is ETD?
Extended Teleport Dash. By pressing the action button on the last frame of a Teleport Dash I can extend it, also giving me a lot of speed. If you hold the action button after pressing it on the right frame you can keep the extension effect for as long as you want. This effect gets interrupted by landing on the ground, taking damage or letting go of the action button. The longer ETD's that involve holding the action button are impossible if you have the Shock Bracelet upgrade as holding the action button in mid-air triggers the shock bracelet so this upgrade is skipped in the speedrun.

- How are you flying on balls?
It's a technique called Telefling. If you use telekinesis at the right time as you land on an object you can then fling the object away with Silver still on it. This trick can also be turned into a Telelaunch by pressing the action button while still teleflinging on an object and then trying to Levitate the object. These techniques are easiest on perfectly spherical objects as it's hard to keep Silver on non-spherical objects during the tricks.

- What's the deal with the Accordion Man?
Don't worry about it.
