- I switched off cigarettes to vaping a couple of years ago, and the local vape shops have had a very reduced schedule due to the coronavirus. Last week I ran out, and was questing like the addict I am around the house for the mythical last bottle of juice that had to exist. In my luggage from a convention last November, I found a squeeze bottle tucked in a side pouch. A bit old, seemed a bit watery, but smelled fruity and decent enough. I mixed it with the last of what I had and vaped away - but very quickly it began tasting absolutely foul. It was getting progressively burnt, with a strange weak yet harsh flavor that made me hack. Too old and open, I thought, and I suffered through using it until I was able to get a delivery of juice later that day. With the new juice, I had to change coils and clean thoroughly for the flavor to finally go away.
- Today I ran out again, and grimaced as I went to the terrible expired juice to stretch what supply I had left. As I screwed the cap back onto my tank, I noticed opalescent bubbles forming on the tip of the squeeze bottle. With *dawn*ing horror I realized that 6 months ago I had filled the bottle with laundry soap, and left it unlabeled. At least this time I didn't use it.
- TL;DR I put laundry soap in a used squeeze bottle last year, forgot, and vaped it last week. I almost did it twice.
