- If you're reading this, you've probably been to my Mastadon account/profile (Fizzymus). Thanks for having me on there. On there I will be inserting my spare photography, though other things will be included. I couldn't fit a bio in just 500 characters, so this is my extended bio.
- Know that my pronouns are she/her and my sexual orientation (non-trans) is asexual. My history with that is complicated. I'm not one of those people who right off the bat got into the habit of accusing people of misgendering me, but there comes a time when you reach a limit. In the style of the ice bucket challenge, a carnical fool-the-guesser game, or a beard/fat tax, it's customary for those who misgender to donate half of their hourly income to charity (one in good standing) every time they do so (e.g. if you make eight an hour, you donate four). It is enforced by misgender rules.
- Something I should say here and now is that my account is a shared account. I've begun to do this a lot. That means it won't always be me behind a screen. Long story short, this began to become a habit because some of the websites I've used didn't allow certain types of cell phone numbers or certain types of email providers, or the site was blocked for them, or signing up was a hassle. Then the habit stuck.
- How will you know it's me? I used to use an equivalent of a bathroom pass where relatives could sign in, but that isn't possible here, so we turn it into a wager. The wager? (Aside from knowing that I might also communicate in Toki Ma on Mastadon, one of the other languages I know) if the most recent earthquake was in Eurasia, I (profile starter-upper) am on; if it was in the Americas, my second-youngest sister is on; if it was in Africa, my third-youngest sister is on; if it was in Australia or Oceania, my second-oldest sister is on.
