Analysis
Determine what the features suggest and decide why the artist used such features to convey specific ideas.
Answer the question, “How did the artist create it?”
Most of the reason why artists would create an artwork is also to express their thoughts, imagination and their experiences which is why the artist create it in his art style to transform it into his painting. Since he is using acrylic paint, he would have started painting the canvas the background till the painting of the woman through his process of painting.  
Discuss the following:
Subject matter- what is it?
It’s about a woman who seems to be caught in her own cycle and not being able to decide her thoughts.
Elements of art mostly used: Figurative painting style 
Principles of design and compositional techniques: Balance, emphasis, movement, contrast, rhythm/repetition, unity: Its color of balance has it own circles of blue, marking it as the main color of the painting, its shadows and emphasis has been did considered meaning the light is at the ceiling, the contrast and the unity has outlined the distinct feature of the woman and her own sitting couch and clothes that helped the viewers determine the object being referred.  
Analysis of use of light and role of color: It light as said is at the ceiling because of the shadows being shown at the bottom of its subject. The main color being used in the painting is the color blue which could symbolizes her own thoughts of making a decision which could also lead to overthinking while the red color seems to be her romance that she is having a hard time to make a decision based on her partner.  
Treatment of space and landscape, both real and illusionary (including use of perspective): Compact, deep, shallow, naturalistic, random: The perception used is focused on the women (subject) with a full body view. The dept of the outline used is darkened and have bigger strokes in painting it, with the acrylic used, the painting isn’t a detailed painting style but focuses the subject expression. 
Effect of particular medium or media used: Acrylic in a Canvas is compatible in painting a figurative art style.

Interpretation

Since the title given to the painting is “You can Never decide”, its related to how the artist is going to deal with in a relationship, it could also showcased us how we are able to relate in that painting if were going through the same nor has been struggling to make a decision.

What do you think is the main idea or overall meaning of the artwork?
-	The women indecisiveness.
Interpretive statement: Attempt to express what you think the artwork is about in one sentence: a woman getting her rest in a couch from a sad experience.
Supporting evidence: What evidence inside or outside the artwork supports your interpretation?  Be descriptive.
-	Its title and how the women is sitting on the couch and its eye being closed in the painting also its colors helped me.

Yes! Because I feel very relatable to that women on making my own decisions and especially thinking with my partner.

- Creating a traditional dance is mostly based on what they believed in and it signifies their faithfulness and offerings to their believers.

What do you think is the main idea or overall meaning of the artwork? - Traditional Dances are to be respected and appreciated from their historical value and worth of living. 

Interpretive statement: Attempt to express what you think the artwork is about in one sentence- I think it's about the way of the people who lives that wants to pay respects to their believers and to the people on what they can offer for something. 

Supporting evidence: What evidence inside or outside the artwork supports your interpretation?  Be descriptive.
- it's reality wherein if what we have now in the present then we have our history which old people would pass on their knowledge and beliefs of their faithfulness as they hold strong beliefs towards their believers and because religion is part of our society.

- yes, traditional dances right now maybe perhaps not be as good as back then from the pioneer but it certainly still expressed their belief on what they're doing.

Yes!  I love traditional dances because everything they do has a significant symbol and meanings and I think I still have so much to learn from them.

- Traditional Musics are so underrated in the current generation from the eastern world but now, various Asian traditional music's that is combining also with a mix of other music's is a trend. Still the traditional music has their own origins and they own hymns to be played with.

What do you think is the main idea or overall meaning of the artwork? - Traditional music's is supposed to be explored and used to know different kinds of sounds being produced in a different instruments. 

Interpretive statement: Attempt to express what you think the artwork is about in one sentence: A lot of traditional instruments. 

Supporting evidence: What evidence inside or outside the artwork supports your interpretation?  Be descriptive.
-it's people and the instruments being played.

Answer the question, “Is the artwork successful?” - I'm not sure, traditional music are still known to be the hardest in learning and creating a music or to Follow although better in a much comfortable.

Yes I still love tractional music's and I do listen from time to time where it does even found in social media as well.

- I see how the artists of the sculptures really want to capture and show the unity and harmony that ASEAN wants to achieve. Each abstract sculpture has shapes and structure well placed along with the meaning they want to show. 


Discuss the following:
Name of the artist, the date of the artwork: Artists Mr Haji Marsidi Haji Akip, Mr. Husna, Mr. Latif Mohiddin, Mr Eduardo Castrillo, Mr MichaelOng Chu Keng, and Mr Saravudth Duangjumpa constructed the sculptures from 11th January to 24th February 1986.

Size of the artwork (found in the credit line): The sculptures ,range in height, is from 3 metres to nearly 6.5 metres tall.

Medium and process used (found in the credit line):

The subject, object and details: The sculptures' meanings focuses mostly on the harmony and diversity. The sculptures were mostly abstract but you see the togetherness of each sculpture. If you look close enough in the details you can really see the essence of each culture and what it means to them.

The elements of the art used in the work: The elements used were shape, form, space and color

- The artists really gave a piece of their cultures with the sculptures. They probably have brainstormed a lot and really want to give their culture's twist.

Subject matter- what is it? 
- The sculptures' subject focuses mostly on the harmony and diversity ASEAN countries wants to promote.

Elements of art mostly used
- Shape and form were mostly used.

Principles of design and compositional techniques: Balance, emphasis, movement, contrast, rhythm/repetition, unity
- The principles of design on the sculptures were mostly unity. This technique was mostly used among the sculptures maybe its to emphasize the togetherness and unity of the ASEAN countries. For Thailand's sculpture, they focused more on movement. 

Analysis of use of light and role of color
- Color in the sculptures really added life to the work. It really gave more essence and added to the harmony and nature like aesthetic. It balances the form and shape of the artwork making it more familiar and inspiration to its meaning.

Treatment of space and landscape, both real and illusionary (including use of perspective): Compact, deep, shallow, naturalistic, random
- The were more on the naturalistic. It is more derived from real life or nature, or imitating it very closely. Well maybe it the idea of the ASEAN countries being more focused on the agricultural aspect of their countries.

Effect of particular medium or media used
- The mediums really gave the sculptures more intensity to the work. They really worked the medium to really interpret the meaning to its full potential.

- "Harmony in Diversity" is the theme of the sculptures. They really handled well with the theme and also gave an their own culture's essence to it. Their cultures and their beliefs really gave a big impact on their work.

- That Harmony and diversity can be shown through different ways.

- You can express alot of thing in a meaning through art.

- "Harmony and diversity" was the theme of the sculptures and they expressed differently yet within the realm of the theme.

- Yes, the art work really portrayed well and they really focused each and every part of the art to have meaning.
