- Roots:
- #### Tools of the Roots
- When you choose this circle, at 2nd level, you gain proficiency in martial weapons, and learn the *shillelagh* cantrip, which does not count towards your number of cantrips known. If you already knew the *shillelagh* cantrip, you instead learn one druid cantrip of your choice.
- #### Guardian Shape
- Starting at 2nd level, you learn how to call upon nature to protect you, to become a fighter of the forest. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cover your form in thick roots and wood, rather than transforming into a beast form, and you gain 2 temporary hit points for each level you have in this class. While this feature is active, you gain the following benefits:
- - Your AC is equal to 12 + your Wisdom modifier, unless it was any lower.
- - You can cast the *shillelagh* cantrip as part of this feature, and when you do so in this way, you can choose any weapon you are wielding, instead of only a nonmagical club or quarterstaff.
- - Once per turn, when you hit a Large or smaller creature with a melee attack, you can have roots wrap around its legs and try to trip it, forcing it to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed saving throw, it is knocked prone.
- These benefits last for 10 minutes, or until you use your Wild Shape again.
- #### Extra Attack
- Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
- #### Warding Roots
- At 10th level, you can use your roots to defend your allies. While you are in your Guardian Shape, when a creature within 30 feet of you is targeted with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to have your roots wrap around the attacking limbs, forcing it to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed saving throw, you can move the creature up to 15 feet in any direction, potentially forcing it to miss by not being in reach.
- #### Living Tree
- By 14th level, nature's protective influence on you is always visible, turning your skin into a hard bark, which hardens even further in your Guardian Shape. You always have the AC benefit of your Guardian Shape, even if you are not in your Guardian Shape, and when you enter your Guardian Shape, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- Battlemind:
- 1/3 cha casting, using the psion spells from psionic sorc, because psionics are charisma for battlemind now
- 3rd level ribbon, uhh... not telepathy, that's what sorc gets. something else????
- 7th level is something like "when you cast a psionic spell with a spell slot your next fuckin' attack is like mega damn cool"
- 10th level is something else, look at EK
- 15th i dunno, upgrade for 7th? want to kind of be like EK after all
- 18th i'm unsure, maybe something action surge-y
